I have moved and, naturally, equipped my entire house with smart Fibaro Dimmers. I also immediately upgraded to a Homey Pro 2026 and am therefore playing around with Moods for the first time. Now I am running into the problem that this actually works very poorly. I have a mood with 5 Fibaro Dimmer 2s, and I am constantly getting a Time-out after 10000 ms error. Could you please help me figure this out? Where is it going wrong?
Incidentally, it does not only occur with Moods, but that is where the problem is most concretely reproducible.
Despite the error message, will the brightness of all 5 dimmers still be adjusted accordingly?
Or do all 5 dimmers not respond at all, or just some of them?
If the dimmers are turned on or off individually, or if the brightness is adjusted individually, do they work without any problems?
Unfortunately, this is a well-known issue. Switching or adjusting the brightness of Z-Wave devices simultaneously can be problematic. That’s why I asked if it works when the devices are controlled individually, to rule out any general connection issues.
I’m not aware of any way to send Z-Wave commands in quick sequence, at least not in relation to moods. That’s why I would recommend contacting Athom Support and reporting the problem to them.
