I have 4 Apple HomePods, a pair connected to my AppleTV, one in bedroom the last one in my office…
I also have a former girlfriend - the Home Assistant green (box)
I took some times this morning to play a little bit with HA (I had completely given up a year ago, when I discovered how simple Homey is)
I did a full update of everything on HA and install the Apple TV integration…
On Homey side I use the Home Assistant Community app to add my homePod as Media Player Item…
After that I can create media player dashboard to display live music playing
I can control my playlist (next/prev) and the volume
To my great surprise, the cover perfectly matches the music.

I also add the Apple iCloud integration to expose my devices, mainly to keep track of mobile device batteries.
