Hi, Has anyone added this device before? EVA has an app, but there is no motion sensor device there. Bought 2 of these on black friday and hoped they were supported. Interview: "ids": { "modelId": "Motion Sensor", "manufacturerName": "Eva" }, "endpoints": { "endpointDescriptors"…

Why didn’t you check if the motion detectors are supported by the app before buying? (Just a rhetorical question…) Did you contact the app developer?? [image] (In most cases contact options can be found at the bottom of the app page in the App Store.) In the future, please insert the in…

Thank you for the response  I did check if the app existed, but not the sensors :grimacing: I have tried with Homey Zigbee and Tuya Zigbee. None of these works  Any idea which app I can test? The sensors are really expensive compared to Aqara so it’s weird they are not supporte…

[image] Tirrazo: sensors are really expensive compared to Aqara so it’s weird they are not supported There’s no relation in device cost and being supported by an app.

I found that out today  It’s possible to pair it through Homey Zigbee without getting any error, but Homey think’s it is a switch.

Yes unfortunately the Homey generic zigbee driver does not handle sensors atm. I’m curious what the Pro 2023 will bring with generic zigbee device support.

How difficult is it to make my own app to make the device work as a sensor?

It depends on your programming skills… :joy: Here you can find the documentation for programming an app: [image] Welcome to the Apps SDK documentation 👋 Learn how to build great apps that run on Homey.

Thank you  I was just thinking if I could make this sensor work on my own. But it looks kind of difficult if you haven’t done it before though :open_mouth:
