@SunBeech thanks to yout excellent advices I have been able to build pretty much what I wanted.

In summary:

a device that shows an alarm sign if at least 1 door / window is open

and a drill down to the status of each door / window, showing in red any open ones
It is not dynamic in the sense that I was looking for something only showing the open doors / windows, but it’s easy to build (no flow - no script- and easy enough to use (approved by my wife 
)
