Thanks for the Deye Solar Systems app. I found a systematic error in the energy (kWh) values, while the power (W) values are fine.
Setup
- App version 1.4.7, data source “Device”, poll interval 90 s
- Inverter: Deye SUN-20K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2 (three-phase hybrid), data centre EMEA_APAC
- Battery: 61.44 kWh (STACK100-10S)
What I see
Every kWh capability is exactly a factor 10 lower than the integrated power over the same period. Checked over three full days with Homey Insights (hourly power averages integrated per day):
Capability (inverter device) watts integrated counter
Daily production 55.1 / 12.9 / 38.0 kWh 5.5 / 1.3 / 4.0 kWh
Daily energy buy 22.7 / 58.3 / 30.1 kWh 2.2 / 5.7 / 2.5 kWh
Daily consumption 23.9 / 23.5 / 18.4 kWh 2.3 / 2.2 / 1.9 kWh
Battery device, “Charged Energy”: rose by 1.7 kWh in one morning while the state of charge rose 29 percentage points of a 61.44 kWh battery, about 18 kWh.
The solar panel device’s energy meter (“Daly production”) shows the same low number as the inverter’s daily production.
The power values (Power from panels, Power from grid, Power consumption, Power from battery, Charging power) agree with the inverter’s own display and with a third-party monitoring tool connected to the same inverter, so the error is in the energy values only.
Side notes
- The title “Daly production” on the solar panel device is probably meant to be “Daily production”.
- The trigger cards of the inverter device (e.g. “Power used from the grid changed”) are marked deprecated and hidden in the flow editor, but no replacement card is listed. If they are staying, un-deprecating them would help.
Happy to provide diagnostics or test a beta.
