I have a Leviton z-wave dimmer that will only join the network as a generic z-wave device. Is there a way to force or change that device to use the Leviton app?
It has to be supported by the app, if not, it gets added as general zwave device.

Understood. The strange thing here is that it is an identical device (make / model / firmware) to all of my other dimmers. So it is supported by the app, it just doesn’t appear to be recognized by it.
Look in the advanced settings an dcompare if all the device ID’s are the same, if not, send the new ID’s to the app creator. Including close to Homey can also sometimes be the solution.
