Hi, I have a dashboard for my tablet that is on 24/7. I notice that the elements actually freeze almost every day and stop updating – when I take out my mobile phone, I see that everything else works fine. It isn’t resolved if I close the dashboard and restart it. It is only resolved when I completely restart the Homey app. But that is not the idea of a dashboard on a tablet that displays everything 24/7…
The issues usually arise with the controls and sensors (selection). An element of a (community) app (such as a clock) continues to run properly.
I created some flows to check if the dashboard is still online and hopefully ‘keep awake’. Works nice…
But check wifi connection to your network first. If possible, create a 5Ghz ssid on the same network and connect the tablet to that one if you use 2Ghz only for the Homey wifi…
I see this behaviour with the energy price widget from Homey. This one is not updating at 00:00 hours and indeed, only when you restart the app it gets the current prices of the day.
This error is accepted by Homey support and they are working on it, but until version 9.8.0 for the Android mobile version it is still not solved.
