Hello,
I’m having around 10 different dashboards to keep a nice overview.
Sadly, the dropdown of main dashboard doenst have a scroll function? So it only shows the first 8 dashboards.
I made dashboard shortcuts to create a work-around, but this takes another column of the already small 3 columns view.
Besides that, you cant show the active dashboard in shortcuts, which is logical cause you are in it. But the downside is also that some shortcuts are changing their position when you select a new dashboard. Sometimes its on the left, sometimes its on the right, depending which dashboard you select. Its not a first world problem, but i don’t like it
So my questions:
- can we have a scrolleable dashboard dropdown showing more than 8?
- could it be possible to show an active dashboard in the dashboard shortcuts? (maybe grayed out)
- isnt there a better way to navigate between dashboards?
Thank you for the attention in this matter
Are you sure?
This is a screenshot from the drop-down menu on my iPad. It shows a scroll bar and allows me to scroll through the list:
Yes, im sure. It isnt showing on my android Samsung tablet. It also doenst show in BlueStacks.
Scrolling is also not possible.

Workaround:
On my iPad i have 3 columns. I created a widget with a shortcut of all my dashboards. I moved this widget to the right and created a fourth column.
Procedure: swipe to the left. Select one of the shortcuts.

Good work around, that gives me back 3 columns.
Downside is still:
- doenst show the active dashboard (so buttons keep moving, not a determined place)
- when you add a 9th dashboard, you have to edit 8 widgets
Something like a home button on every page could also work. Then you have 1 dashboard only for the shortcuts, making editting easier. Although you always have to click 2 times for going to your destination.
As you have noticed a dashboard can have more then 3 columns. Moving a widget in the right column to the right creates a second screen. On that screen you can create an other 3 columns. You can even create a third screen with 3 more columns. This way you maybe can reduce the number of dashboards. And maybe solve your problems.
Thanks for the idea.
Honestly its still a workaround. Another reason for having multiple dashboards is to reduce loading time of the page.
Curious why I dont have scrollbars.
Nobody has a solution? I can’t be the only one with this problem. Cause besides my Samsung A9 tablet, als BlueStacks doenst show it.
You might want to reach out to Athom, as there should be a scollbar:
