If a brand doesn’t have a Homey app, then their Bluetooth devices won’t work in Homey. Is it required to keep the current Koch controller? Otherwise you could perhaps replace it by any other LED controller which is supported by Homey (as long as it matches the voltage/power of the ledstrip/panel.

As said above; it will not work if there is no Homey app for Koch. Which there isn’t. You reply depends on what you call “Homey only”. In addition to my suggestion you can also connect another brand remote to Homey that can control the LED panels as well. That way you can always control the panel…
