Hi, I have TV furniture of the Spectral brand with a LED panel at the back. I can turn this on via a remote controller or an app called Xledlinks. The brand of the controller is KOCH (HT4), see also their website koch-licht.de. Does anybody know how I can connect these LED’s to my Homey Pro and which app I can use to control it? Thanks in advance.
I have the same setup and request.
The Xledlinks app (Bluetooth) works fine.
Is there a way to emulate the app Bluetooth in Homey?
Any assistance is appreciated
If a brand doesn’t have a Homey app, then their Bluetooth devices won’t work in Homey.
Is it required to keep the current Koch controller?
Otherwise you could perhaps replace it by any other LED controller which is supported by Homey (as long as it matches the voltage/power of the ledstrip/panel.
Thx Henk,
The current remote control as well as the xledlink app can control the ledstrips.
A homey-only solution is not what we want
Any recommendations?
As said above; it will not work if there is no Homey app for Koch. Which there isn’t.
You reply depends on what you call “Homey only”.
In addition to my suggestion you can also connect another brand remote to Homey that can control the LED panels as well.
That way you can always control the panels manually. But yeah, still via Homey.
