After updating to the latest version on my homey pro 2023 an app I had installed from the command line is gone. Is that to be expected?
Yes, but unintended. It’s a called Release Candidate for a reason.

That’s what I figured, just wanted to make sure. Good that you are aware of it, looking forward to many more release candidates 
I also lost the community app ,smarthings app … and unzecure seems it is not possible to install the community app when i tried …
Any advice?
And will the devices I’ve added automatically work again when I reinstall the app, or will I have to remove and add them again?
Yes, in my case all the devices (and flows) were back after re-installing the apps.
