I know it has already been mentioned a couple times but just so it’s super clear.
This is a community forum we are not employed by Athom and have no say over how they provide environments for costs.
As Robert has pointed out the community has done a pretty great job of trying to help you out.
Some things that may help
Buy One of the older generation second hand honey pro. (Could be cheaper then a bridge)
Create the app on a bridge but publish it as a community/pro app (which is free)
Ask for a developer to do the work - perhaps by supplying the device. (Or a couple)
Pay a developer to do the work.
Have one (or more) of your users who is requesting the homey app to pay the yearly fee.
Ask one of the users who is requesting the app if they have one of the older generation homey you can either have or borrow.
Reach out to Athom and ask them if they will wave the first year fee.
Buy a homey pro - jail break it, hack it as easily as you say provide the community a a sandbox - then return the pro while in the two week free return period.
Things that wont work
Complaining to the community or developers who have bought the homey already.
