[BUG] Dashboard widget "Electricity Prices" does not update at 00:00

In my Homey Dashboard I have added the Homey Energy “Electricity Prices” widget.
During the day the current time position is indicated by a dot and is moving to the end of the day. So far so good.
At day change (00:00 hours) the graph and the dot freezes: no jump to the next day.

A cumbersome solution is to close the dashboard, open the Energy tab, scroll to the end, wait for the Energy graph to populate with the today’s info, close this tab, open dashboard. No fun.

For me this Electricity Prices widget is useless if it is not updated at day change.
Am I alone with this opinion?

Yes, try 00:01

Hi Chris,
What do you mean with your reply?
Does it automatically update the graph at your end when the next day appears?

Simply 00:00 does not work, you have to enter 23:59 or 00:01 as the time.

Edit:
Maybe I misunderstood you, do you have to enter a time or do you expect the displays to be updated after 00:00?

The latter.
There is no possibility to enter a time. I expect that the displayed graph is automatically updated upon day turn.

Maybe I don’t fully understand your issue, but I’d like to point out my dynamic prices for the next day get updated at around 1400h til 1600h.

Meaning, nothing changes with the prices at or around midnight?

Prices of today:

Already published prices of tomorrow:

You completely miss the point as you focus on the wrong widget.

The first sentence in my first message tells it all.

Visit your Dashboard app or create one (the original Homey one). Search for a Widget under the Homey tab. Scroll down until you see Energy. There you have two widgets among which “Electricity Prices”.
Add this widget to your dashboard.

I still see the Sunday graph while it is Monday 18:00 hours.

You may shoot me now.

Of course I know it’s about an other widget man! I can read. Can you?

But I don’t have the Energy thing, and I got the idea you think the prices are renewed right after midnight.

I tried to explain to you this is not the case, with help of dymamic prices graphs of some other app. But you seem to only look at pictures and not read my response.

This is the widget I am talking about, not the one from PbtH.
It only shows the complete day, so no “hours ahead”.
This widget does not update. If you have August 9 in your dashboard it stays that way forever, until you restart the dashboard and have reloaded this same widget in the official Homey Energy tab.
What I mean: you look at the same graph for a week if the dashboard is untouched.
No update of the picture means no price info, so useless.

As it is an official Homey widget I thought to mention this - in my eyes - bug.

@gerard_athom , if you happen to come across this post, can you shine your light on this?

Athom has solved this bug in Android version 9.5.1

Thanks a lot!

Sorry to say that it is still buggy.

It now works for 2 or 3 days that the energy prices are being updated (so that you see the correct graph for that day), but then it stalls (freezes) until you close and restart Homey.

Will create an error report and send to Athom.

Same here. This widget, or the Home dashboard itself seems to be a bit buggy. Seems like the camera widget has the same problem. Any response from the Homey team would be appreciated.

Yesterday-afternoon I have dropped a 2nd complaint at Athom regarding this issue.
I am getting fet up with restarting the Homey app on my tablet every 2nd day.

Earlier they promised to solve it in upcoming firmware versions, but it takes too long ……
