I need to install some roller blinds and cabling is a no go so they need to be battery. I’ve been trying to stick to ZWave but all of the ZWave roller controllers I’m aware of are mains only, are there any battery versions? Failing that, I’ll be falling back to Zigbee, of which there are several, any suggestions on preferred make/model for use with Homey Pro? TIA.
Actually, the main question here is, from where those blinds getting power and on which voltage they operate. Also, which installation costs You tolerate. Here i think, do You need some just push and screw cables solution or are You able building some electronic/electric “midleware” to adapt some existing low voltage/current with blinds ( with my first ones i was quite surprised the power they use).
If You have operating on 24V level, then there are lot of answers for Googling “zwave 24v blind relay”
Try SmartWings blinds (the work well!). Battery or wire, plus Z-Wave or Zigbee. https://www.smartwingshome.com/
