PROBLEM STATEMENT: 1) Aqara T/H sensors connected to HP23 don’t appear to work on Alexa. 2) Virtual devices corresponding to T/H sensors aren’t discovered on Alexa.
SITUATION SUMMARY:
- Aqara hub removed from network.
- Alexa and Aqara apps installed on HP23.
- Multiple Aqara T/H sensors connected to HP23 and reporting correctly on Homey Pro
- Sensors are discovered on Alexa but Alexa only displays this:
- Alexa doesn’t show the temperature and doesn’t display or respond to request for temperatures.
- Created AVDs for the temp sensors but Alexa won’t discover these virtual devices.
QUESTIONS:
- Does the Homey Alexa app support T/H sensors in this situation without the Aqara hub?
- Does anyone have the Aqara T/H sensors working with Alexa?
- Does anyone have virtual devices corresponding to T/H sensors discovered and working on Alexa?
- Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
