[App][Widget] Zone climate widget app

Thanks, it’s showing up as deg F which is great! Not sure how the algorithm plots the warm/cold, but is 67F (19C) meant to be “too warm”?

No it’s not, i see why thanks to your screenshot. I can fix this

New version to try if it is now fixed

I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version, still appears as “hot”

1.3.2 is working great with Fahrenheit. Really appreciate your effort.

Eh, noob question:
How do I use this app? I have installed it but cannot see it when adding devices.
In app, I can see an information that “The app isn’t used in flows”.
??

Yes, that is because it is an widget for the dashboards. So you can add it to a Homey dashboard like your home screen etc. It combines multiple existing devices. So in my vision it would pollute the device list.

Is the developer still here ?

Maintaining this app ?

Could you maybe make the several climate properties/numbers if each zone available for flows ?

Until now it only visible but not usable in flows.

I really would like to use a temperature or humidity if a specific zone as trigger (=“When…”) or as condition (“And…).

Something like the Home Pro app “Zone activity” offers/adds to flows.

Still here, just no reason to update.

I’ll consider it

:folded_hands:t2:Thank you very much. :folded_hands:t2:

Do you know any means how to use/get the climate properties/values of a specific zone like temperature and humidity already now ?

Is it only available through Homey Scipt or anything else??

For example I really would like to use these as a trigger or condition of e.g my bathroom to start my (Honeywell(→ Homey app)) heating and/or my (Itho(→Homey app)) ventilation system.(Because I got more than one device that measures this kind of values. That happens when you already invest more than 12 years in (different) smarthome systems/nanufacturers through time. And in the beginning of the smarthome was redundancy key :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:).

You can check out the test version. The flow cards have been added, not heavily tested on my side yet, so let me know if they work for you

Thank you very much.

maybe in the next few days.

Today is a day that had the possibility/potential to ruin the rest of my life in a very important meeting this afternoon.

I hope your meeting went well :folded_hands:

Thanks for your concern.

It didn’t went well but also not so catastrophic as thought yet.

Meeting that might be cementing my fate for the rest my life is to be continued in 2-3 weeks. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Next dew days I will take a look on the new features and give you feedback asap.

Best regards.

Have (a) nice day(s).

I need(ed) something to distract me from the “half disaster (meeting)” yesterday so I just looked at your added functionality.
I mean this really not disrespectful nor I’m someone to be in a position to ask even for anything (more). Also this is my 1st impression and its really positive.

I only want to know if you’re yourself happy/content with it or this is the 1st big step towards a little bit more. I’m not demanding anything now just want to know in your opinion/mindset there is nothing that could improve these by additional triggers & conditions. This is a very good and fine start with these 3 thriggers and conditions in my opinion and finally at least someone has thought that these are required ir at least useful. Which makes me already very happy and I really appreciate your efforts.
My feedback is : works nine (these 30 minutes of my 1st testing/impression). But
Only maybe if you also would be interested and convinced that it adds even more/better triggers an conditions I would, I f i was able to code it myself, add the same triggers and conditions with an additional field of duration in (in minutes or even seconds) like the zone activity app has to ensure that the value is a little bit consistent and not a short term peak/low for only a few seconds.

You might find some “inspiration” or even good crtl-c , crtl-v “help” for the duration part of the code or the developper (@ erikvl87) of the “Zone activity” app for Homey.

Forgive me if you could interpret this as not thanking you for all of this you made for us.
I’m really grateful and happy that this exists.
And giving you my honest thoughts/feedback from my 1st impression(s) of these new features.

Thanks :folded_hands:t2: :folded_hands:t2::folded_hands:t2::folded_hands:t2::folded_hands:t2::folded_hands:t2:

Black Iphonitis rigorosa : level 15+

I also try to keep the app light and clean. More than x time requires longer tracking of values than I currently do. I only remember the previous value and if it changes I can trigger the flows.
So longer time is already kind of implied due to the fact the system only does this every 30-60 seconds. Next is done avg, so they depend on the sensors in there to update etc, they have their own interval.
The direction parameter makes the trigger work for both above and below use cases, so they count as two each

Ok. Thank you for your answer and that its no hard feelings or you are not offenden anyway by me or my post. I could delete it If you want.

My apologies.

(currently not i a good mood en mentally maybe very slighly unstable and judging if its fine or I’m going nuts over everything I do/say etc since yesterdays meeting.)

I did not feel offended or unthankfull. You can leave the party up :+1:. So play with it to distract yourself, and look for silver linings. There is always a new corner to turn down the road :+1:

Thank you for your understanding & kind words.
