[APP][Pro] Widgetkeeper - dashboards in your browser + custom widgets

Hi Arie, have you tried this app widget for weather radar/satellite view of clouds? I use this on my dashboards and select my Homey location, which centres the map around the location set in Homey settings. Works quite well

:rofl::rofl::rofl: what have I started :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have a other question
Is it possible to change the name for this “Insights-heatmap”?

If it is possible I like to change te name

Thought I’d share with the group how my Shelly Wall Display XL web dashboard is coming along… quite pleased with this so far

This just wouldn’t work without your outstanding work @ThomasRS thank you good sir

This is such an amazing app! Thanks!!

Just wondering, since it is possible to use the dashboard in webview, could we gain the ability to resize and position the widgets how we want? I understand this is not possible in Homey’s native interface Dashboard.

Thanks for sharing! Really cool to see how it’s actually being used!

It should technically be possible. But - just so I understand - why would you want that? What kind of layout would you want to build?

So here you would “Group by room” to combine the two? And like an option to “Show uneven number controls with a full-width control as the last one” (better name to follow  ) - kind of like for the camera widget?

Hi Thomas @ThomasRS

You know how I said I had run out of ideas :light_bulb: for suggestions… I lied  I thought of another

A THEN card(s) to display a message on a selected (from a list) web dashboard for X seconds/minutes, that would pop up in the foreground on any device displaying said selected dashboard. And a similar THEN card but with a Yes/No response passed back to the flow in a Boolean tag :label: Could be a game changer idea for version 2 ha ha :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yes indeed, and that works just perfect.
But indeed, a setting to show (in my case only one) the “group”/device full width would be perfect

1.0.2 is out for testing

  • Thermostat Presets: tap the name for the controls: power, the target temperature (− and +) and every mode, fan or swing setting of the device. It closes by itself after 30 s.
  • Thermostat Presets: show any value beside the name (such as the room temperature), see the setpoint under a lit preset like Heat, and give the widget a title of your own.
  • Insights Heatmap: a title of your own in place of the device’s name.
  • Media: tap the album art to switch between Large and Compact (each screen remembers its choice). With − and + for the volume, shuffle and repeat stay in the row when there’s room.
  • Web dashboards: remote access through Homey’s cloud, so they work away from home. It’s off by default; turn it on under Apps → Widgetkeeper → Configure.
  • Web dashboards: backups can now hold just the dashboards you pick, and a restore replaces only the ones you tick.
  • Curtains: curtains reversed in the device’s own settings no longer show a blue tile when closed.

Feedback welcome, as always!

Oooft!! That media widget is sexy as heck… I doff my hat to you good sir :top_hat::saluting_face:

Thanks for the new version!

Thanks for the amazing work. The speed of updating and the quality!

I have to put in again the api key on my phone when i update is that logic?

@ThomasRS I was thinking about floor plans, and I think that kind of widget need to be much bigger. Have you seen the “Interactive Flor Plan Widget for Homey Dashboard” in the forum?
Should also be cool if you implant something like this.. just speculation

For my understanding, must everything be contained in the same widget app? I think I can pick whatever widget I want from this or other widget apps?

As of 1.0.0 that is in testing you can pick widgets from any app to put on web dashboards. If all widgets will work, I don’t know - but initial testing seems promising

I haven’t had to enter new API keys between updates. However the web dashboards on a local IP and external access (as of 1.0.2) need keys entered seperately.

What weahter widget do you use?

Thanks for the app, looks great.
I just started setting things up, how do I set the clock widget to 24h format?
Running the 1.0.2. test version on Homey SHS. Homey itself gives time in 24h format.
EDIT: found it, I had to change the Chrome language
