Hello,
I feel you are everywhere in homey app @martijnpoppen ![]()
I did not find the solution in FAQ so sorry if solution was given previously,
Is it possible to get image tag of a received message to use it in different apps (gallery, âŚ) ?
Thanks for your time !
@Vincent_Roue hello!
Yeah 26 times ![]()
![]()
At the moment not
But Iâll investigate if thatâs possible
Hi Martijn,
Thanks for this great app, use it mainly for sending commands to Homey
Now getting into Homeyscript, trying to extracts parts of a message sent to Homey , as there seems to be no variable generated with the message received (?).
Just a test if text = or text contains
I was assuming it should be something like: let bericht = args[0].text OR let bericht = args.text
But that doesnât work, can you explain how that can be done?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Specific use: âlaad 70â would change a variable to 70, making my EV to charge up to 70%. Instead of opening Homey app, going to the variable and manually changing the variable
@Ronald_B can you provide a screenshot of what you mean?
The message received does contain tokens you can use in your flows
However when you test the flow itâs not there but that due to that the tokens match against a real message and a test of the flow is not a message
Tokens which are generated;
You were quick as always, unbelievable!
Anyway; I can see how you can check for a value, sender, time etc. Not how to save, or do string & value calculations with a received message. Was hoping that would be possible, or could be created
@Ronald_B for that I could recommend the Flow Utilities app ![]()
That can do a lot of things without the need for homey script and has built in variables
Hi,
I got two phone number connected to my phone. To get them both going on the phone at the same time Iâm using WhatsApp Business. Now I am trying to connect the WhatsApp Business phone number through your app to be able to send myself messages from Homey AND get the standard Whatsapp to ring the notification (which is not the case if i use the same number).
But for some reason the messages Im sending is not coming through!
Has this got anything to do with the setup through WA Business or am I doing something wrong?
@O3car please send a diagnostic report
@martijnpoppen Thanks for a speedy response! I back tracked a little bit on my installation and it turns out the Whatsapp integration with my ânormalâ number didnât work any more either.
Everything âlooked rightâ to me, but I decided to do a reinstall from scracth of the app. And now both numbers work!
Thank you!
I figured I wanted to give som feed back on my own issue here!
What seems to happen is when I add a second Whatsapps device (with a separate number) both devices seems to âfreezeâ in Homey, with no messages beeing able to be sent from either number.
This is what must have happened the first time, and it happened again today. Same remedy both times: uninstall and reinstall the app an add the number (just one though) and everything works again!
