@Joram the report is empty
So I can do anything currently
Can you restart the app
Restarted and recreated a report: c745d783-d30b-45ba-878d-669d4ccb6b01
@Joram report is still empty ![]()
Can you try a homey restart?
Done, 747d6ee8-c97a-4a9d-8772-82aa8ecc04f3
Can I also see if there’s anything in?
@Joram still empty
No only the developer gets the report
But see attached:
That app is not crashed or something?
I can get the phone number to work by itself, but not groups, I receive a “Could not get Group ID” error. I have verified the link, and am an admin in the group in WhatsApp. I have updated the software, and also restarted my Homey Device. Not sure if I am missing part of the setup, the device was setup in Homey pro with no issues, and I even did a repair.
Do I need a way to receive a confirmation code like I do if I receive a WhatsApp invite from another person?
@Shane_Emerson please send a diagnostic report
Edit: i see you already sent one. The particular group you’re trying errors out. No clue why
Could you try another group? As it seems there’s group data coming in from another group
WhatsApp integration no longer working for me…
Just wanted to check if anyone else is having trouble with the WhatsApp integration on Homey Pro lately?
I’ve tried everything:
- Restarted Homey and the WhatsApp app
- Deactivated and reactivated the App
- Even created a test flow to catch any group message and forward it to my number – but nothing is coming through anymore.
I would like to attempt to reattach it to my WhatsApp account… but I couldn’t find the settings to do that. Maybe the pairing is broken, but I’m not sure how to fix it or where to look.

@Michael_Fritzsche But did you already try a repair?
After seveal tries, it went thru… was timing out multiple times while trying to repair. Now its getting group messages, but the sender number is always wrong: +4196619257**** (i better hide the last 4 digits, maybe a dev forgot to remove his test number while debugging) … i do some automation, based on this where i also filter by phone number and with this number its not working anymore …
A dev? you know I made this app right…
also +41 is countryCode Switzerland, also were you live right.
Please send a report
I just submitted a report. No, I live in Germany, and the number shown is completely random. I sent the message from my phone, which uses a completely different number. In WhatsApp, I can see my correct number, but when I forward the message as a push (in a Homey Flow), a strange number appears as the sender.
Report ID: 6157c7a5-6ce1-4912-be7b-16f3957db2ad
WhatsApp shows my name correctly in the group where I originally got the message. I have no idea where this other phone number is coming from.
I can also confirm that there’s no occurrence of it anywhere in the GitHub project
— so it’s possible that WhatsApp is just mixing things up.
@Michael_Fritzsche I didn’t receive a report can you send a new one?
Here is my new report: 4c95017a-37de-4aac-96ae-3710c308ede2
@Michael_Fritzsche again no report..
which app version are you using?
@Michael_Fritzsche seems like your homey is not really uploading the report
Can you restart homey and then send a new report?
After you received a message as well
After restart it completely stopped working and i cannot send a new report, because im rate limited now …
@Michael_Fritzsche oh wow…
Let’s try again when it’’s working
No i was able to send messages wvia whatsapp, be testing my Flow at the sending part. Im still not getting any group message, so the flow cannot handle it…
I created a basic Flow witn "on groumessage, but this is never executed.
Report is: f99ab7df-ed31-4d21-b4e9-2f0955a66124
Now it received a group message, but again from that wrong number, although i was sending it from a completely different number:
i created a new report, hopefully it contains trace where this number comes from: 739776af-6e1e-4c80-9595-28e0c3e701d2
