Hi Martijn, it already works for me it seems that the group link was changed by whatsapp they removed the - caracter which was in my grouplink variable I had setup earlier.

So the - before HE was removed by Whatsapp this could be the issue with others aswell.

I also made it smarter to put it in one flow instead of putting it in each flow separate, if somethings breaks down you only have to change this flow and nothing else.

After (re)installing the app (the app dissapeared suddenly), I am unable to add a WhatsApp device.

Already tried a homey restart? Looks more like a homey issue

I use your app with full satisfaction for sending camera snapshots at the frontdoor to my households phones.

Lat few months however I run into an issue that the connection between homey and whatsapp randomly loses connection. After restarting the app, the problem is usually solved. This happens now every 1-7 days and I need to restart the app.

Any idea what the cause might be? Could it be the app or Homey itself?

@Joram Please send a diagnostic report when that occurs. Do you also use this whatsapp number on other devices, if not make sure to use it every once in a while. Because whatsapp web will be logged out if you’re not using the native app anymore

Thanks for your reply, I will send the diagnostics report when it happens. I do use the number on my phone for whatsapp as well.

I installed this app a while ago, but then neither my wife nor I received any notifications anymore. Now I have a new phone (iPhone) and thought I’d give it another try, but it’s the same issue again. Am I doing something wrong, or is something not working correctly?

When I connect Homey to my WhatsApp, I stop receiving notifications from anyone. As soon as I open the app, the messages come in — this happens for both my wife and me.

@Willie_Plompen If you send a message once from Whatsapp in Homey it should resolve itself. somehow it keeps the connection live sometimes

I’ve already done that a few times, and I do get a notification (de synchronisatie met whatsapp op …)

Probably you have a flow somewhere where you send a message to yourself.

Maybe that’s what’s going wrong — I added both my wife and myself in the app, and I send a message to her via Homey, and she sends a message to me.
