Glad you are back, didn’t know you left
Just tried to pair, after telno input, it hangs, stating that its loading.. but what does it load ..
@Phil_Bro Yep, that’s why i was “unavailable for homey development” ![]()
did you install the latest version?
It works!
Thnx
Works here as well
Thanks Martijn!
Let me uninstall and reinstall, the update was 1.29.0 and should work?
@Phil_Bro yes that’s correct!
Just reinstalled the app and tried 2x .. Loading … Will do a Mac DNS flush tomorrow morning as I expect something local..
New app update (
LIVE: 1.29.3):
Changelog:
NEW:
1: NoneFIXES:
1: FIX: for HP19 - nodejs not working with new SDK
If you find any issues, send a report via the mobile homey app
More - apps - Whatsapp - settings wheel right top - send diagnostic report (put your email in the input field to make it easier)
Issue list: [APP][Pro] WhatsApp - Simple. Reliable. Private - #3 by martijnpoppen
Hi Martijn. Just reinstalled again and tried. After entering telno. is says loading … then this text disappears and homey reports (in red) driver missing 2x and the sequence restarts. Doing this the second time and loading appears and stays forever.
Do I need to install additionals? Running homey late 2019 updated.
@Phil_Bro which homey are you on? HP19 or HP23?
@Phil_Bro HP19 still has issues i saw, therefore also multiple updates yesterday evening. something changed in the SDK causing incompatibility with HP19 (nodejs 16). So investigating what i can do to fix it. But actually running nodejs 16 is the issue.
OK! Well that satisfies me, to know the cause to find the root cause is a start. Thanks so far. If you want me to check on things, let me know.
It appears that you’re not using https://homey.app/en-nl/app/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/**test**/
as others do use the /test/ to allow testing prior to put mods live instantly.
@Phil_Bro Normally I use /test (link). But as I made a “hotfix” i thought it’s better to put it live immediately, not knowing there was a critical update for lower node versions
Perfectly understandable. I’ll wait for the version for me, again no sweat as it has no high prio here, for others I don’t know the level of patience ![]()
@Phil_Bro the number of HP23 is a lot higher on this app. So should work for 80% of the users ![]()
As I have 3 HP19 operational and 2 spare.. but most of all a lot of apps did prove not ready for the 23 model, I decided to wait. So I accept the 20% exception for your app ![]()
New app update (
TEST: 1.30.0):

@Phil_Bro can you give the above test version a go? I’m not at home so can’t test on my hp19.
Edit: Did test on my Hp23 and that still works ![]()
