Dear martijnpoppen and dear community, for some reason my WhatsApp App does not connect to my phonenumber. I follow the instructions and get the 8-digit code, but when I enter it, I get an error message: Unable to connect device… What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

I try to connect my Homey with whatsapp but after installing I fill in my number and then the code but then Whatsapp says: can not connect, try the code again or ask for a new code.
I tried almost everything, but I still get the same message.
Can someone help me?
What are you trying to do ? Not sure I follow. Probably using some app, did you check related app thread here on the forum ?

It’s down, and not yet resolved
when you want to link this to your whatsapp it indicates that the number is incorrect or that you need to request a new code. Tested with whatsapp and whatsapp buisiness. It also does not work with different phone numbers. Numbers are definitely filled in correctly.

Same here, wish to use the WA app, Telegram works flawless but I need to send reports daily by WA. Hope to see the fix for adding telno. as there are a lot of people waiting. Thanks!

Hope you are not restricted by someone and you find time for this as the original app landing page does not mention incapabilities. It took me 2 Hours to find out the app cannot be installed.
Anything we or the people waiting can contribute to get things rolling?

Not much there can be done. Only the SDK needs to be updated inside the app, quite a simple task
And maybe not necessary but a reminder, this is a community app. So the developer (me) works on this on a voluntary basis. So please be patient
