The Tempest connects to its own hub then to network via Wi-Fi, I dont believe there is any other option but it is small and neat. I’ve barely ever had to reboot even after power fail or anything but I do have a strong mesh wifi. One thing that is neat is when indoors, the app connects direct to hib for its updates via bluetooth. You get a lot of info in the app in advanced section, uptime, RSSI, last connect between unit and hub, battery etc.
And the weather part of the app is very good and seems very accurate
I’ll check to see what other flows are using it and share the ideas a bit later

The Smart Weather Station app is not finding the connected Tempest device from.the Network. It just comes back saying No new devices found.
Same problem here it just stop updating… i hope it starts working again i have a lot flows using this

My Tempest / Air / Sky device does not appear as climate thermostat in the new Homey Dashboards - any chance that can be integrated, so that we can use our weatherstation in the dasbhboards as well?
There is something wrong with the data pulled from my tempest station into insights. The rains accumulated the last 24h is somehow doubled…. Checked with a friend and he had the same wrong values in the 8nsights. Any idea what’s wrong?
So my second tempest died 
No more Tempest for me, little backstory.
I’ve backed the kickstarter version in late 2019, received it almost a year later in 2020.
The device\the look it self fantastic. But the quality is not that good (for that price). My first device died in may 2022 but was replaced under warranty 
But last week the second one died Nr1, less than 2 years old Nr2 bit over 3 years old. It will not be replaced under warranty anymore but i can get a 50% discount. Not for me, not gonna pay almost 200 euro for that device. Gonna look for something else.
Just a heads-up if someone is thinking about buying it.
