(I also just made now clear, in my post by editing, that I’m using “Advanced virtual device (by Device Capabilities app)”. Didn’t realize it myself (which app it was in particular. )
Most likely that is not specified. So in that case it is correct.

I searched for hours with the differents applications (avd and Virtual device) but didn’t found…
I have the consumption and importation/exportation values in variables from an enphase envoy metered.
The question I have is it is possible to show more then just the solar panels production on the energy diagram (via a virtual device a guess but how ?)

I was making a sensor, and wanted to use it to display/store the current energy price. But after selecting a sensor I cannot give it the units of euro’s. It the a way to store data as money in a sensor?

HiI’m trying to model my solar system using AVD’s. See screenshot for excample. I have searched for tutorials, but haven’t found a way of setting TEXT values to these capabilities. Can you apply different TEXT to a status capabilty that can then be read to detemine current state. Or am I going completely down the wrong path here. This is my first attempt at using AVD’s I have set it up as per the scrreenshot below, but as of this moment ther Virtual Device has no dfatas associated with it. It just looks like a standfard VD.
You can set the values through flowcards.
Maybe you need to put the tag between 2 "'s?
This works, Peter:
Create a text field, I just called it status_txt:
Select that text field as Satus Indicator:
A flow which enters text into that text field:
NB
Don’t use this card:
(this changes the NAME of the text field “Tekst 2” into “TEST” ; it does not write the value to the text field… )
you’d use this card:
When you tap/click into the [Textfield] field, a dropdown with your AVD’s configured textfield(s) appears, select the one you want to use.
In my case that’ll be status_txt.
To my knowledge there’s no quoting, ' or " needed for text field values;
using tags shouldn’t differ

Hi, thank you @Arie_J_Godschalk for all your great apps. I like Device Capabilities for an Advanced Virtual Device but I also like this Virtual Devices for a more simple and interface.
I just wanted to know if it’s possible to add a “Search/Filter” in Capabilities. I was trying to add one Virtual Air Conditioner, but when I try to add all the capabilities there are too many and are small buttons, so It would be easier If I could filter.
Also, is it possible to edit an Virtual Device to add more Capabilities? I thought it would have a “Settings” → “Maintenance” to add more Capabilities like the Device Capabilities, but it doesn’t exists for Virtual Devices.

No it is not possible with devices of the VD app → For this you can use an Advanced Virtual Device;
I guessume Arie is not going to build some of the same functionality into the VD app.
