[large] This app gives you the opportunity to add Virtual Devices to Homey. You can operate the Virtual Devices from the UI and/or use them in flows. Or you can add a mode and add it as a condition, e.g. to disable multiple flows when going on Holiday. Virtual Devices can simulate anything without using an actual interface. Well… of course within the limits that Homey provides. Do you, by any chance, have your Homey connected via WiFi to a mesh WiFi network (with multiple access points)? And, Homey has no fixed/reserved IP address? And or have you enabled IPv6 on your home network? These elements were causing issues for some people: apps suddenly disappearing, not installing of being not available while installed. Assigning Homey a fixed IP address (or reserving in dedicated one in your router’s DHCP server), binding Homey to a specific access point and disabling IPv6, seemed to help.

[image] Shiki: Wonder what happened ? Well, i made an update to the VD app. But nothing that could cause what you report. There are 2 other people reporting the same thing as you though. Seems to be an App Store issue as far as i can tell.

[image] SunBeech: binding Homey to a specific access point and disabling IPv6, seemed to help. True, the disappearing apps issue (should be fixed btw) were an ipv6 related bug. And restarting all network devices (router/ modem AND access points) helps, and update your Homey firmware. [image] Cannot add new apps to Homey suddenly Questions & Help Problem solved. Thx to Athom support. I don’t know why, but as my explanation for this problem - that they’re testing IPV6 on device firmware. Answer on my ticket: “This issue seems to be caused by your internet modem issuing IPv6 addresses. Could you please disable IPv6 in your internet router? Hi Thank for coming back, I tot I am alone having this issue.

My HP23 was on static ipv4 but I didn’t set static for ipv6, maybe I should block it totally? whereas firmware was already on 12.4.7 way before when the Virtual Device app disappeared 2days ago. My router do have ipv6 wan address too, not sure how it is impacting the homey :face_with_monocle:

No clue why, or how ipv6 could cause these issues, I recommend to inform with support about this answer: [image] Cannot add new apps to Homey suddenly Questions & Help Problem solved. This may be difficult, but I can ask. I am looking for a virtual alarm control panel. Is it possible that this will become an option in the future? I then look for a panel that can turn the alarm on and off with a numerical code

Hi, thanks for the cool app. It works great so far. Ive only got one tiny question. Is there a way to edit created devices? I dont find any option  Thank you for your help.

No not really. If you want to be able to customize more, take a look at the Advanced Virtual Devices from the Device Capabilities app.

Thanks for the fast reply. I like the “virtual devices app” because its a little bit easier to use it than the big brother - netherless ill give the Device Capabilities app a new try
