So I see only battery info on my app.
any help?
Please wait there is some issue with publishing, it’s will released asap.

MAX Tuya Local v7.0: The Ultimate Cloudless WiFi Protocol! ![]()
Hey everyone! I’ve completely revamped the WiFi architecture to bring you the “MAX Tuya Local” engine. This update introduces a groundbreaking asynchronous TCP push synchronization, putting us on par with solutions like Home Assistant’s LocalTuya, right inside Homey!
What’s inside the v7.0 MAX Local Architecture?
- Dual Asynch Stream (Zero Latency): We now open a persistent local TCP socket (Port 6668) directly with your devices. When you switch a light in Homey, the command is executed locally locally in under 50ms.
- Autonomous Cloud Sync: Because the physical device remains connected to your WiFi network, any state change triggered by Homey locally is instantaneously pushed by the device itself to the Tuya Cloud. This means your Smart Life phone App remains perfectly synced without Homey ever polling the cloud or wasting API credits!
- Auto-Healing & “Relocation” Engine: Changing routers? DHCP shuffling IPs? The local connection now includes a 10s heartbeat. If the socket drops, the app automatically fails over to mDNS and UDP Broadcasts to actively hunt down your device’s new IP, self-healing the socket bridge behind the scenes. You will never see a “Device Offline” error just because an IP changed.
- Universal DP Mapping Software: I’ve implemented an ingenious universal Data Point mapping engine deep inside the core. It automatically translates basic Tuya DP schemas into Homey capabilities, applying BVB (Bizarre Value Blocking) filters and data transformations on the fly. This will allow us to support countless new WiFi Bulbs, Plugs, and Valves without massive code rewrites!
- Deep-Link Pairing: During pairing, you don’t have to choose between Local or Cloud. Just follow the “Easy Link” process. Homey deep-links directly with the Tuya platform to securely extract the
LocalKeyrequired for the local UDP/TCP handshake. No more manual key extraction headaches!
I also fixed the SDK 3 energy.batteries validation issue and duplicate Flow Card IDs that were blocking recent updates. Everything is green and currently rolling out to the Test channel.
Enjoy the most stable, fastest local response time Tuya has ever seen on Homey. Let me know your feedback! ![]()

Since last update none of my devices that use this app is working anymore?!
“Could not get device by ID” error message, even after restarting my Homey no changes.
Please give some diag logs
Best regards I will look at this evening
Hi Dylan Good morning
, since your updates to ver 7 non of the devices giving data, in other words nothing works anymore.

For example my multi sensor screenshot:
Also still can’t connect my SOS button it still adds as Universal ZigBee device.
Have a nice day with best regards Peter.
2 gang wall remote isn’t recognized anymore and added as unknown device.

Today i want to add the rest of the sensors. Did the same as last but now that are unknow zigibi devices. (Version 7.09) Interview Details are:

Than there is still the other porblem. If i Go to to App in Homey and click on configure. i Only get a grey screen and a spinnging wheel forever.
But keep up the good work. Like what you are doing.
