imust create a new driver to isolate your manifactuername and put your label. But if it’s the same function as an water leak detector , i’m not sure that realy pertinent
i tested the mmwave ceilsensor, i repaired it, re-added it but still not effect.
i use these 2 buttons to pair it:
i geus this should be correct as i dont see any others…
maybe you can make a new button just for a 230v, ceilsensor? on these two buttons highlighted i still see battery options etc.. no other options.
Any news about my 4 gang switch? I still get the message “Could not get device by id.” Now i’m on version 529. Do you need more information?

I use (try) the same two devices to connect my presence sensor.
But mine is seen as Climate Sensor, also with battery.
Do whatever is convenient for you. As long as the water… is accepted in your app.
This is the diag for 4 gang switch:

It installs as it should, but it doesn’t alarm when water present. The unit reacts and blinks once, but nothing reported. Battery level reported. Thanks for helping. Ver. 545
@Lasse_K - Fixed in v5.5.549!
Problem: Some water leak sensors use IAS Zone alarm2 bit (bit 1) instead of the standard alarm1 bit (bit 0) to report water detection. Your sensor was sending the signal correctly (LED blinks), but Homey was only checking alarm1.
Solution: Now checking both alarm1 OR alarm2 for water leak sensors (and smoke/gas/CO sensors).
Action needed:
- Update to v5.5.549
- Test water detection - it should work now!:
- If still not working, please send a diagnostic report so I can see the exact IAS Zone status value your device sends.|.

Ver.550. Still no alarm from Water…. But the door sensors are now in reverse again. i.e magnet close=alarm. Magnet away=no alarm. Thanks.
I readded the BSEED 4 gang button switch again (v550) and still get the error “Could not get device by id.” Following the diag:

Boh… - Thats a hard one.
In such a case I usually struggle for hours to get all these fragile (Alexa-, Matter,- …) devices working again. So that will unfortunately have to wait a bit.
Oh wow, I see. That shouldn’t be necessary at all, Pete, but that’s an other discussion.
Often a power down can solve weird issues, that’s why I advised.
