I got it up & running in the first take, not to brag, but only saying the manual is fine. You still must have missed something somewhere.
Check out the YT vid I linked to in post 1.
It shows all needed steps, except for the Tuya app config screen.
He said he followed the manual by the dot. So I think that means: having done everything.
Anyways… that’s why I asked @Joe_Kunz if he got it fixed in the end.
By the way: the YT video shows that the HA integration is also based on setting up a developer account. I thought they had some sort of built by Tuya integration

No, I’m still getting the 1106 error after following all the steps. I followed the same steps and got it to work on Home assistant with no issues, so pretty sure I’m doing it right. I’m just using both Home Assistant and Homey Pro for now. I pulled my Tuya Window Controller into Homey from Home Assistant.
I will revisit this issue soon.
Do you know anyone nearby who can have a look? To be honest: in cases like these usually it is a matter of missing something you were 100% sure you didn’t miss

Ich habe gerade in einem video gesehen das jemand die smart life app mit allerdings home assistant gekoppelt hat aber nur mit dem benutzercode aus der smart life app … das ganze ging dann mit barcodes die man scannen musste nachdem der Benutzercode in home assistant eingegeben worden ist und kurz danach wurden alle geräte die in der smart life app waren in home assistant integriert
Ist sowas nicht auch für diese app möglich ?? Anstatt der client id und client secret … sich mit diesem benutzercode einzuloggen ??

The “official” Tuya app from Athom and the Tuya company had this type of login procedure, but the app continuation was fed to the seagulls after a relatively short time… they just left it as is …
I know, it’s great isn’t it! With Homey, unfortunately, you always have to install the devices piece by piece or by type.
For these kind of reasons, I would run Home Assistant in parallel next to Homey.
Mmh kannst du mir mehr erzählen wie du das meinst bzw das gestaltesg mit dem paralell laufen lassen ? Und könntest du mir eine Empfehlung aussprechen was ich so für home assistant benötige? Ich hab kein haus nur ne whg und nutz smarthome auschliesslich für licht steckdosen aber auch für wohnungstüre kaffeemaschine vorhänge und weitere spielereien die mir halt so einfallen

For those stuck with the permission issue, I spent a few hours yesterday and failed following all the directions too. I had an idea and had a breakthrough this morning:
Unfortunately I changed a number of things so I’m not exactly sure which fixed it…
Honestly, I think there was one other change that came with the above but I don’t remember and can’t see anything going back through the apps. When doing the above, hopefully, it will show up.
I honestly think the key is basically disconnecting the Google account login by changing the Tuya app password. Making the two match may have helped.
