Rudi, we know it’s not the easiest configuration, but I get this feeling more and more:
could it be a possibility Tuya ‘blocked’ new users to connect with the iot.tuya.com API? Similar to like what happened to new users of the ‘official’ Tuya API?
It’s a bit funny how error 1106 suddenly seems to be a very common error, don’t you think?
1106 is similar to credentials not accepted / not allowed.
Again Tuya seems to like forcing customers to stay within their kingdom.
Oddly enough Tuya Wifi still works fine as Home Assistant integration! Including a Tuya howto:
