[APP][Pro] Tuya Cloud - This app allows you to connect Homey to the Tuya cloud

@smarthomesven
It’s the other way round:
Tuya usually uses figures without decimal points internally
Tuya internal value: 163
Actual value: 16.3

@Calvin
You can consider migrating to the recently added ‘official’ Tuya app by Drenso (Drenso creates and maintains apps for Athom).
You can install the app next to this Tuya Cloud community app, and migrate devices one by one.

I don’t get what you mean by this;
I can connect a Tuya wifi device to 3 platforms at the same time:

  1. Home Assistant- Tuya integration
  2. Homey Tuya Cloud community app
  3. Homey Tuya Drenso app

Thanks for the fast replies!

Maybe this is a Homebridge issue than, but when I had Tuya connected to my Homebridge and Homey, the logs in the Homebridge constantly said that it can only handle 1 platform and in Homebridge it made my Tuya device not usable. Now i completely switched to Homey and with Homekitty I forward my devices to Homekit. This problem is solved for now :slight_smile:

This did the trick. I setup my radiatior in the Tuya app by Drenso and it shows the correct temperatures now! I also see that this app reads much more information and settings of the radiator. This app also allows to adjust your scaling of the setup temperature and the current temperature (1/1, 1/10, etc…) Also this is solved now! :slight_smile:

Thanks for the support!

Ik heb een kookplaat die ik kan verbinden met homey, maar ik kan geen flows maken omdat homey geen “codes” ziet

English please.

It"s best to install the Tuya app by Drenso.

I have already, I can see the device but I can not control

Hello everyone,

I just took this version because it is the only one that natively supports my shutters, the official one does not support the shutters and yet it is basic shutter switches. So I installed the test version as indicated in the first post, on the other hand I still have this notification that appears "

You are still using the old deprecated API and drivers, please switch to new drivers only. See community forum for details. https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-tuya-cloud/21313”

Someone could tell me why
Thanks

I filled the config page but when adding a garage door device:

Any idea?

See troubleshoot section @ first post of this topic.

However, I think you should consider moving to the more recent ‘official’ Tuya app by Drenso.

What happend, since 10 Minutes all devices are not responding anymore.

I changed nothing and suddenly nothing is availible.

I restartet homey, I restarted the App, I tryed to repair a device.

Nothing works.

All devices are connected to the WiFi and are reacting over the Tuya App but are offline in the Homey App.

Please help

Ups, and now everything is back on., and off again.

The app has been updated I think. Weirdly enough all devices I have that are connected through the Tuya cloud app still seem to work. All the ones connected through the official Tuyau app don’t work. Same devices connected through both apps

Could it be that your Tuya IoT subscription ended/you did not renew it?

Or, you restricted access in the Tuya IoT portal to your (external) IP address and that IP address changed?

Last update of the Tuya Cloud app was on Aug 18, 2025 :thinking:.

IoT is ok and I restricted nothing.

I didn’t changed anything when that happend.

I just tried to repair a device again abd submited the user code with the tuya App again and now everything seems to work again.

Are you sure you are using the Tuya Cloud app and not this one: Tuya | Homey which is discussed here: [APP] Tuya - Connect any Tuya device with Homey (by Tuya Inc. / Athom) - Apps - Homey Community Forum

As I saw your message yesterday I went to check my Tuya Cloud app and the behavior you mention is what I witnessed too… with the official Tuya app, not the Tuya Cloud app. And the solution was exactly the same.

You are right, sorry. I use the Tuya App by Drenso. I used the atherone before but deleted that because the App by Drenso worked mor stable until now.

And in the end it all works out! Bu the way, kudos for @Doekse with how fast he responded in the other topic!

And that while @Doekse is on vacation. He is probably smartifying his Italian holiday home while simultaneously keeping up with the posts here… :rofl::rofl:

Already spotted some great abandoned little castles that could do with a proper renovation and smartification. A man can dream :wink:
