Lars, are you sure about the password when you login to the device?

I would need a diagnostics when you try this to see if whats going wrong

Christian, did you just sent a log? That was for the old 1.3.0 release please update before and retest.

Best Regards,

Hi Mathias

Yes, i can log in with this password in the app an in the Web (its the same password)

Trier it with the IP Adresse of the Router and with tplinkdeco.net

Hi Mathias,

It work with the test version and via pc.

That is great news

Hi Mathias,

I’m tying to use the presence widget, but it only shows me a spinning icon.

Hi Mathias,

Just tried test version 1.4.30 with my X50-5G (fw 1.3.1) and three X50-PoE (1.5.0), and it works :raising_hands:

I removed all deco devices from Homey before upgrading to the test version, and then added them after upgrading. All four devices were identified and added smoothly. No encoding problems with the device names either.

However, the LTE capabilities are not added to the X50-5G device. I don’t know if you get any useful info for debugging that through diagnostics, but here goes: a75b48d8-4efc-4271-bef8-207c1d2b820e

I’ve been having huge issues with my TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro devices recently. My internet went down constantly, like 4-5 times each day. At first, I thought the problem was with my ISP. I noticed, however, that when it happened the other day that the fiber box was up. This sent me looking at my internal network.

Turns out, if I have this Homey app active and connected to my 3 mesh devices my internet goes down all the time. Almost as if it crashes my Deco devices. Tried disabling the app for a couple of days, and my internet was rock solid.

To really test the theory, I now re-enabled the app and re-paired my devices in Homey. Less than 30 mins later, my internet went down.

Just so other people know, that if you’re having internet stability issues - this app might easily be the cause.

Hi, just curious. Using the WHEN client becomes online, does it mean for the entire Deco network/all the decos? Or for 1 deco? I would like to use it but not sure if i need to do it on the Master deco or if i can do it on any deco? And if the client switches to another deco will it trigger or does it only trigger once when the client becomes online on any deco?

Just one question to you. In the settings you can set how often the devices are getting “,refreshed” under " timers’, see screenshot

In my case I’ve set this to 15 sec, which is the sweet spot to me. If you set it too low, your network could be unstable. I’m also using the 3-set XE75 Pro and I don’t experience any issues whatsoever

Can you check that in your settings?

Thanks everyone for contributing to the improvements. I’ve released the app to the public on 1.4.34 and we’ve already reached 3473 installs. This version includes fixes for widgets and other pesky bugs. I’ve also added more logging details in some areas so if you find an issue please be specific in the diagnostics textbox. This helps me sort and pinpoint a potential problem.

New version ot, test now and report if still broken

it should trigger both on online and offline on every Deco

So even if i say: when my phone becomes offline… then … it doesn’t matter which deco i say when the client is offline or online, but if my phone switches deco node. For example from my room to the master, then the offine/online won’t trigger since it uses all the decos? Because in that case if that’s how it works then the client becomes online/offline card should be under the app instead of every deco device? It would make it more understandable as online/offline should be all the deco’s and not 1 deco. So if the online/offline card isn’t for the specified deco, could you move the card to under the app instead of the devices?

Hi @MathiasT , I updated to 1.4.34.

“WAN Disconnected” is now correctly No on Deco X50-5G :+1: If I remember correctly it used to always be incorrectly Yes/alarm.

“WAN IP Address” is unpopulated - but that is not important to me.

Still no LTE capabilities though (tried to re-add devices too). Diagnostics Id: c83cf1f7-8018-4ab3-930f-3ecf9980c32d

I am unable to log in as well. Deco model X55, App v.1.4.34. Diagnostics id 21350aa8-d437-4947-a1fd-9aee995ef8e4

I am able to login to the local tplinkdeco.net panel with the same password.

It is a bit confusing that instructions in this thread are to use the TP-link account password, whereas the Homey-app specifically states not to use the TP-Link account password but the local admin password.

I can’t login on my X50. But I can login on the web environment of the X50.

X50 firmware: 1.8.0 Build 25102213 Rel. 43970

Please advice.

Same issue, same X50 and same firmware
