no that is @DavidW suggestion, I have exactly the same worry and problem as you have…
Same problem here logging in. Any suggestions?
Password should be the same that you use to enter the tplink.net with? Because trying this but not working in the app
Hi @MathiasT ,
Can you confirm you are still maintaining the app? Currently I’m unable to login on my XE75 pro, (login is incorrect) according to the message. my credentials are correct, I’ve checked them.
Are you able to help?
Tack så mycket
I’ve installed the Deco app and when I search for devices none are listed. After installing the application does one need to restart their router for devices/clients to show up?
Ik probeer me deco te koppelen maar krijg steeds melding inloggen gevens fout terwijl ze goed zijn
Hi @Jordy_Ter_Voert This TP-Link Deco app is (probably) not actively maintained anymore. I’m facing the same issue. We can only hope the developer (or someone else) can pick up this app in the future.
btw, English is the main language on this community. If you want to communicate in Dutch, please go to the Dutch section ![]()
Keeps saying wrong credentials even though i’m doing it right every single time…
Homey installed an update for TP-link Deco. Now on version 1.3.0. Is @MathiasT still active?
Edit: Proberbly he is. TP-Link Deco | Homey
Aaaah great!
Thank you @MathiasT for bringing the Deco App on Homey back to life! ![]()
Only one very important thing, I still cannot log in with my Deco credentials. Is there something from my end I have to do to get logged in again?
Thank you very much!
Thanks @MathiasT for updating the app!
I still cannot log in with my deco credentials, though. Tried to update the current device and tried to add a new one.
I’m back, and as you see, I have released 1.3.0. This is now sorting out a lot of bugs and has added client-connected/disconnected events between the nodes. I have my self X50 and x50-4g units and have run it for a full day without issues. It might not work for all, as it seems that Deco has made changes to the webui api. To be clear, I don’t have any other devices besides the ones mentioned. But I’m willing to try it model by model and firmware version by firmware version.
happy to see you are working on it @MathiasT deco M9 try to login on 192,168,68,1 the default, but can login but no device added…
I’ve got one network based on X50-5G(V2) and one based on P9. In both networks i can log into the config page (192.168.68.1 or tplinkdeco.net) without problems but in both I get the unknown/wrong credentials-thing when trying to connect devices to homey. Has anyone managed to solve that yet?
So you can add it but then get into issues?
Best Regards,
Mathias Törnblom
