that BLE search is very slow is not new for me , a long time ago i used the ibeacon app , sometimes devices found and sometimes not :joy: , homey 2018 version and Bluetooth are not good friends .
Do you test your app on all homey versions ??

I use now a esp32 with a bridge version for ipixel devices becaause position and signal streng where i finally would use the display there is no homey :roll_eyes: but the 32x32 has a chance with your app . but not on the old homey 2018 :wink:

I online have a Homey Pro 2023, so I can not test on older Homeys. Im also not even sure if Homey 2018 supports API 3.

When you mean SDK3, pre-2020 models can run those apps. There’s no app store restriction for pre-2020 models.
The 2016-2019 model range shares the same firmware

I can test on a Pro 2019 if you like, but I don’t own a pixel board (yet).

It’s a shame they don’t sell this version at Action anymore. Only the rectangular one is available now.

Its a protocol after all. It doesnt have to be from Action, but those were easy to get.
If you have a LED display which runs on the iPixel Android/iOS app I can try to make it work.

The app works better with all the updates, so I’m trying it out again a bit.
What I still don’t quite understand is the clock, it keeps standing still. Sending messages works fine, but I still can’t get the clock to work.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for this app! Saw it, directly go to the Action and bought 3 pieces. Works simple and fine. Would it be possible to check if these futures could be added:

  • Display icons
  • Display two lines
  • Add blinking

Icons/Images when I have a lot of time which wont be for a while.

Display 2 lines?
On the 32 by 32 screen?
Thats something I that might be possible but need to figure that out.

And blinking as in like the text blinking?
That might be supported I’ll have to check it out and add the animation modes.

A bit of a late reply, my apologies for that. I had apparently unchecked the option UIT in the app, so the time had stopped.

Hi Kyle,

I have the 32x32 variant. Is it possible to project the clock as a static image (possibly a bit smaller) instead of having it move across? And would it be possible to display the temperature once every hour, for example?

So after after using my 2023 Homey , i can use the app, my devices found succesful , on Homey 2018 the app found nothing

I was wondering if there is a tutorial how to populate the display, I want for example temp shown in a corner and the song playing scrolling in bottom (if possible)
