I’m excited to share a new Dashboard widget app I’ve been working on, and I’d love to get some testers and feedback before officially submitting it for certification.

Introducing **Calendar-cloud** :date:

An elegant, premium, and highly customizable calendar widget for your Homey Pro Dashboard.

Key Features

* **Multi-Calendar Support:** Merge up to 3 different ICS links (iCloud, Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.) into a single, unified view.

* **Visual Distinction:** Events are clearly separated with segmented, color-coded sidebars to help you easily identify which calendar an event belongs to.

* **Smart Display:** Shows “TODAY”, “TOMORROW”, or the day of the week for upcoming events, along with location icons :round_pushpin: if specified.

* **Auto-Refresh:** The widget silently updates your events in the background every 5 minutes—no need to reload the dashboard.

* **Customizable:** Choose from 4 beautiful color themes (Ocean, Sunset, Forest, Galaxy), adjust the widget height to fit your layout, and display from 1 up to 365 days of events.

* **Full Dark Mode Support:** Follows your dashboard’s theme automatically or can be forced.

How to test

You can install the test version directly via this link:

### :hammer_and_wrench: Setup Instructions

1. Install the app via the test link.

2. Add the “Calendar” widget to your Dashboard.

3. Paste up to 3 `.ics` links in the widget settings (make sure your iCloud/Google calendars are set to public/secret iCal format).

4. Customize the look and feel!

Very interesting. Just sparks me an idea to populate all kind of activities in an agenda through iCal and then have the agenda in the dashboard through yours here. Then get visibility what Homey is planning to do at various times.

That’s a brilliant use case! I hadn’t thought about using it as a ‘Smart Home Schedule’ but it makes total sense.

Since the widget supports up to 3 calendars, you can actually keep your personal events on one and have Homey’s activities on another one with a distinct color. Glad it sparks some creativity for your setup !

For clarity sake (and I think you got the point, but maybe others didn’t), I meant using icalCalender (https://homey.app/nl-nl/app/no.runely.calendar/IcalCalendar/) by @runely to automatically populate activities in a separate iCal and get things indeed nicely visible.

Ah, I see! Combining IcalCalendar with Calendar-cloud is indeed a powerful combo. While IcalCalendar focuses on triggers and populating data, Calendar-cloud provides the clean, visual representation on the Dashboard. It’s great to see these apps working together to create a full ‘Home Scheduling’ experience. Thanks for clarifying that workflow!

By the way, if you (or anyone else testing) have any ideas for improvements or features you’d like to see added, please don’t hesitate to share them! I’m really open to feedback to make this widget as useful and polished as possible for the community.

Good morning!

Thank you for your amazing app! Looks awesome on my dashboard :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Just one question. My calendar items show up twice on the dashboard, how is that possible? I’ve shared 2 seperate calendars in the setting, belonging to one account, so with my primary email account I create two separate calendars (work and private) and added them as two separate calendars with private ical url’s

Exelent work and thanks for this, I was working on converting my iFrame version to an native homey app for exactly the same use case.

Would you consider consider also the a background simular like the homey dark grey color when use in dark mode?

Also I saw some misallignment in the date collum not having a fixed width. Secondly the date collum could this be as an option using the height of 2 lines for better aligment for appointments with only title and time (or vertical alignment of each other)

After several refresh I sometimes get failures maybe due to corrs proxy but no reason of failure.

the red dot for live indications is not working on my dashboard. (Ipad)

Keep up the good work, imho this a great addition to homey dashboard!
