Hey everyone,
I have rebuilt the ATAG One app for Homey Apps SDK v3. The app communicates directly with the thermostat over the local network, and version 2026.7.2 is now ready for practical testing on physical ATAG One hardware.
Test the app: Install ATAG One SDK v3 from the Homey App Store test channel
Current test version
Version: 2026.7.2
Platform: Homey Pro / Homey Apps SDK v3
Protocol: Local LAN — UDP discovery on port 11000 and HTTP communication on port 10000
What is included
The app lets Homey monitor and control an ATAG One thermostat locally, without depending on an external cloud service.
Temperatures and boiler information
- Current room temperature
- Target temperature
- Outside temperature
- Domestic hot water temperature
- Central heating water temperature
- Heating return water temperature
- Boiler water pressure
- Heating state
- Flame state
- Burning hours
Temperature control
- Set the target temperature from the Homey device
- Temperature range from 4°C to 27°C
- 0.5°C increments
- Set the target temperature from a Flow
Flow support
When…
- Inside temperature changed
- Outside temperature changed
- Target temperature changed
- Domestic hot water temperature changed
- Heating water temperature changed
- Heating return water temperature changed
- Water pressure changed
- Heating state changed
- Flame state changed
- Burning hours changed
And…
- Heating is on or off
- Inside temperature is above or below a selected value
Then…
- Set the target temperature
Pairing and connection recovery
Homey discovers the thermostat on the local network. During pairing, an access request is shown on the ATAG One and must be confirmed on the thermostat. If the request remains pending, it can be sent again from the pairing screen.
The app also includes:
- A repair option that can rediscover the thermostat without removing the Homey device or breaking existing Flows
- An editable IP address for DHCP address changes
- A configurable polling interval between 30 seconds and 60 minutes
- Automatic recovery after temporary network failures
- A clear unavailable status after repeated connection failures

Compatibility and testing
This community app targets the original local ATAG One protocol. ATAG Zone is not supported. Compatibility may vary between ATAG One generations and firmware versions. The SDK v3 test release is now available through the link above and needs testing on real thermostats.
This is an unofficial community integration and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ATAG.
If you own an ATAG One and would like to help test it, please reply in this topic with:
- Your ATAG One model or generation
- The thermostat firmware version, if known
- Your Homey model
- Whether discovery and authorization work
- Which measurements and Flow cards work or do not work
Feedback about pairing, connection stability, temperature control, status values and Flow cards is especially welcome.
