Hi PZaal,
I will look into how to better the calculation.

Hi,
Test Version: Charging Power Calculation
I have published a test version that attempts to improve charging-power reporting, especially for US split-phase installations.
The app now uses the Wall Connector’s reported aggregate voltage and vehicle current by default. A new setting also allows selecting measured phase sum for verified three-phase installations.
Please share whether the displayed charging power now better matches the Tesla app, and include your country and electrical setup if it does not.
Cheers
Rune
Hi,
Added test v5.0.1, with a new power calculation setting that is available in the Tesla Power Connect device settings.
Select the electrical supply type connected to your Wall Connector:
Automatic remains the recommended option. If the reported charging power does not match the Tesla app, select the supply type that matches your installation. The new setting applies immediately after it is changed.
Hi,
I’ve just released an updated test v5.0.2, which makes the auto power calculation mode much smarter.
Instead of relying on a fallback multiplier, the app now actively monitors the voltage and current on every individual phase (A, B, and C) and accurately sums up your real-time charging power.
Update the app to the latest version and let me know how it works for you!
Thanks so much for the updates. I have been testing for the last couple of days.
With test v5.0.1, Automatic, Single-phase, and Split-phase all reported the same 6.5 kW value for me which is very close to the power reported in the Tesla app. There was often just a 100 W difference, but maybe this is just due to a difference in rounding. The other two options resulted in very different values as expected.
With test v5.0.2, Automatic reports the same wrong 8.5 kW value as before (about 2 kW higher than the Tesla app). However, both Single-phase and Split-phase still report the correct 6.5 kW.
