Hi Adrian, I just tested it, but I don’t think that part is not noticeable, the log remained empty. Tomorrow I will try again!

Make sure the motion detection is enabled in the Homey device as that will subscribe to events. Also check the camera settings to see if there is a setting to enabled sound events.
Hi Adrian, unfortunately I didn’t see anything come by about sound. The app that came with the camera (Camhi pro) allows to receive sound alerts. Maybe the app itself does add something to make it possible…

I have been in contact with the camera supplier about the reboot problem. I thought it was best to fix it at the source. He said it was a known issue and I had to update to a specific firmware. So that’s solved!
Unfortunately I am now facing something else. I have multiple flows which been triggered with movement on onvif from this camera. If there is movement I do three actions:
Send a message on Telegram. Update the movement snapshot and send 1 second later this snapshot also on Telegram.
This always worked flawlessly. Now I am facing the issue that the message triggered on movement is randomly send and the images are even more random. It even seems that -I am not kidding- the snapshots work mostly between 19:00 -07:00. I haven’t changed anything on the flows or -except from the firmware- on the camera.
For the best reliability of getting the snapshot I would recommend using the “Motion snapshot ready” trigger card. Sometime the snapshot can take several seconds to transfer if Homey or the network is busy.
If you are using the camera motion then you don’t need to update the snapshot as that is done automatically. That card is meant for situations where another sensor is the trigger source. If you have both Motion enabled and use the update motion snapshot card then it can end up doing two updates which will slow things down.
As for the random trigger, I’m not sure why that would be happening. is it possible that the new firmware has changed the sensitivity of the detection?
Just an update on the list to inform the Imou Bullet Lite is fully working and responsive in sending snaphots, and my Imou Looc works but I couldn’t get the trigger to work (when snaphot is ready…). The looc is much less responsive as it requires 10 sec to get the snapshot by the official app and Homey don’t pick it up …I have sent a detailed log this morning in case you could investigate, advise or fix it. Many thanks for the good App !
I think from seeing the log you need to change the “ONVIF Notification to use” to DIGITAL INPUT to get the trigger working.
Yes Adrian, well spotted, something I couldn’t really guess about. It is fully working now for me in regards with two types of camera. IMOU Bullet Lite and IMOU Looc Great thanks !
IMOU Cube 4MP (IPC-K42P) Works in Homey
To add to the knowledge base - I was able to link 2 analog cameras linked to my Hikvision DVR DS-7204HTHI. To do so you need to enable ONVIF service in DVR settings and set up a user (which is apparently a different user to main admin).
The app detected DVR on the network automatically, and also detected 2 ONVIF streams. The snapshot links generated automatically were to main and secondary streams of the same camera though - I had to edit one of the links manually to point it to the second cam I have.
Unfortunately, the motion detection does not work - in the log I see the app subscribes to events on a regular basis, but no motion entries are seen. I guess ONVIF service implementation on my DVR is pretty basic…
Does anybody know how I can solve the time difference between the app and the camera’s/NVR?
The time on my cam’s is correct and also on the NVR. The app shows always the time 1 hour in ahead.
I made this screen shot at 10:12 hours.
The camera time has been driving me crazy. Some of my cameras report UTC and some report local time. Some adjust for daylight savings and some don’t.
Maybe I will try adding an option in the advanced settings to allow the reported type to be specified so the correct adjustment can be made.
Thanks for the answer. It is clear to me that it is not a setting but the way the camera is reporting the time.
Hello,
Try to add my REOLINK RLC 410W camera, it cannot find it automatically, so I enter it manually and I have a return: Error / timed out after 30000ms.
While your works on ONVIF manager.
Do you have any ideas?
Is the camera available on the same network as Homey?
Could you enable logging in the Configure app section and then try to connect to the camera. Then send the log to me via the Send button.
I’m totally useless.
it works
Hello
Very new to this, anyone had luck with the NIP-55AI camera from Neo?
no autodiscover and no luck with manual. What ONVIF service port should I try?
I can’t find any specification that says it supports ONVIF.
But you could try port 80 as that is quite common.
Thank you. Have tried that with no lucky. I do not know the login eighter, tried admin/admin. Will the app prompt for a password if it is rejected?
No, unfortunately the app is not informed of why a login fails.
Could you set the log to Basic Information, try to add the camera and then send me the log.
My feeling is the camera just doesn’t support the required protocols but seeing the log might show something else.
