Just pushed a minor fix. BUT when tested local, i had the interval working. Have you tried to set the interval to 10 in the settings of the app and restart the app?
I am able to get interval of 10-seconds, by setting the value to 10.

Ok that works, missed that setting was there and not on the device itself.
