I’ve done some tuning towards the authentication and error handling in v0.3.1 (available for test), at least for me the connectivity works again properly now. This should also fix the issue reported by @Marcel_Vellekoop .
It also adds the possibility to start the air conditioning of the car to a certain temperature from a flow. Be aware that your car needs to support this, if your car does not support it, the flow won’t work.
After installing v0.3.1, I do indeed see more data.
What should trigger the app to update the data? Now, about four hours after the initial setup and a drive back home, there haven’t been any updates on the data.
This update is a big improvement. However, one variable isn’t getting a value “doel laadnivo”. I don’t have a charging pole. I charge my car with a charging cable with a smart plug. When “doel laadnivo” isn’t 100 I will charge the car when I return more than 2,5KW to the grid (solar panels and a P1). When I return less than the smart plug is OFF and when it’s more than It has to be ON. It’s must be also ON when “doel laadnivo” is 100 to override it because I will use the car. I think there is a little bug here. See screenshot.
I’ve been on vacation so I stayed on version 0.0.3 until getting home. Now the app is on version 0.3.x and another library.
@KennyMoens It seems that all triggers (when-cards) is removed in the new version. Will they be back or do I have to trigger every 2 minutes and read the metrics? For example I check if car is locked if it been stationary for 10 minutes and if window is open if car been locked for 10 minutes.
Nice implementation of Haversine formula (Car at home)
My “need to charge calculator” has been useful on my vacation - I put distance to destination + 60 km into a variable and my flow calculates target charge (%) and resulting range (km) into a text variable. The calculation i based on present charge and range from Skoda app. Both variables on Homey mobile dashboard makes it easy to handle.
Hi,
I was trying to install the app, but then realized it seems not to be compatible with the Homey Pro (early 2019), is this going to be added in the future, or is this not going to be possible?
