The shuffle feature definitely needs some love. In the meantime, I’m also working on the profiles feature, so that’s cooking along nicely!

I started using Homey about one month ago. I admit a tipping point to try Homey came from the existence of your Roon app. I have one question. Are smart playlists available to use in a flow? I do not see them in the list. Is this a technical limitation as the lists are not static? Thank you in advance. I will owe you a coffee
I believe there may be an issue with Roon API when retrieving playlists. Personally I’m only seeing playlists I have on Qobuz. None of my other playlists are visible whether they are smart or static.
The reason I believe it is related to the API and not the Roon App on Homey is because other Roon extensions are giving met the exact same behavior. One such example is the Roon web stack

So there seems to be a known issue with the Roon API for users with multiple profiles in Roon. As I have/had multiple profiles, I decided to delete my wife’s profile (she doesn’t use Roon very much), but this did not resolve anything, even after a restart of my Roon Server.
One user in the thread suggested creating a new profile and removing the original one, which is not something I’m willing to do.
Also, there was one comment from a user about not seeing smart playlists, but it is not very clear to me wether or not he is seeing other local playlists.
At this time the conclusion is that this is not a user error, but also not an error by the developer of the extension.
I also deleted my wife’s profile. Using a single profile ended up being easier overall for us. So, yes, for us we also had multiple profiles since we started Roon some months ago. Recreating all I have done with the existing profile does seem like a big task. I will certainly have to consider it as an option. Thank you very much
