[APP][Pro] Roborock Cloud - Intelligent robot vacuum cleaners

@KennyMoens The card ‘The water tank became empty’ seems to yield som false alarms on a Saros 10. The card seems to fire even if the clean water tank in the dock is more or less full. Could you look into this when you get the opportunity?

Edit: See now that there are two different types of cards in play here. ‘The water tank became empty’ and ‘The clean water tank became empty’. Suspect that the first refers to the water tank in the robot itself and the latter to the clean water tank in the dock?

Could you make me a diagnostics report when the false positive occurs

Thanks for a rapid reply! Testing first by using what I suspect is the correct trigger card for my use case (clean water tank). If it continues to give false positives I will get back to you with a diag report. Best

Hi @KennyMoens,

Before buying a Roborock, I would like to check compatibility with your Roborock Cloud app on my Homey Pro 2023.

I am considering these models sold in the Netherlands:

  • Qrevo Edge 5V1 Black, also referred to by Roborock support as S5A

  • QV35A

  • QV35S

Have these exact models been confirmed to work with your app?

I would like to use Homey Flows to:

  • Start vacuum-only cleaning and stop/pause cleaning.

  • Clean a selected room.

  • Select between three floor maps.

  • Return the robot to its dock.

  • Receive a notification when cleaning finishes or the robot gets stuck.

Are there any known limitations or differences between these three models?

Thank you!

Hey,

The qrevo is perfectly supported for your cases. I think the qv series should also be supported.

The q7 and q10 series have limited support.

Mvg

Thanks, Kenny. Just to confirm: by “the Qrevo” do you mean the exact Qrevo Edge 5V1 Black (S5A)? And does full support include selecting/loading the correct map for each of my three floors through Homey?

Hey @Hans_S

The support is not depending on the model directly. Basically it depends on the protocol (or language) the robot speaks.

There are currently 3 languages which the robots speak:

  • The B01 Q7 variant, which is only used by any robot in the Q7 series.
  • The B01 Q10 variant, which is only used by any robot in the Q10 series.
  • The 1.0 variant, which is used by any other robot.

The Homey app has limitations on the B01 Q7 and B01 Q10 language variants, as these languages are not fully reverse engineered yet.

The 1.0 language variant is fully supported, as the app was developed with the 1.0 language in mind.

The other languages came later, and together with the developers of the Home Assistant and ioBroker integrations we are still reverse engineering these languages, which means that some features are not fully supported for these newer languages at this stage.

The Qrevo series falls under the 1.0 variant and is fully supported by the app. If you are looking for exact configuration on that exact Qrevo model, I cannot give that, maybe some people in the community have this exact model, but I cannot confirm it. I can confirm however that Qrevo series works. I am aware of users with the Qrevo Edge Pro 2 model, and I myself use a Qrevo Curv 2 ProX.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for your quick replies Kenny! Much apreciated!

v4.2.0 is broken. I get “app unavailable” on my 2 devices. No cleaning is performed.

Hey @ara,

I’m pretty sure something else is going on, as v4.2.0 works perfectly with me.

Did the app maybe crash? You can see that in the settings of Homey. A restart will fix this. If it keeps happening, it can be that your Homey is short on memory, in that case it is recommended to turn off the map rendering as that is resource heavy.

Kind regards,

Yes a reboot helped. Thanks for a good app!

Hello guys,

Is there anyone who has a Roborock Mower device? I found some interesting hints and was reverse engineering the mower protocol. However before I publish something, I would like to be able to get some test data.

Thanks,
