[APP][Pro] Roborock Cloud - Intelligent robot vacuum cleaners

Quick reply :-1: Did 2 run, 1 button, 1 flow. Hopefully you’ll see something.

run with button
7f403b4f-8076-4f37-9653-fd367e91a579

run via flow
45128c55-428b-423a-b8cb-f14ae7d3702c

Hmm, it seems that the app crashed due to memory limit.

Any specifics you can tell about your setup? I haven’t seen this with someone else.

That’s strange, i never experienced that with an other app. I have HP’23 and about 400m free mem.

Only thing i could think off, i’m using the virtual device from AVD app and with that the first part off the flow is triggered.

Gonna try something else to start the flow. I’ll let you know

Edit:
After testing, it was indeed the AVD virtual device that somehow causes this strange behavior. For now i’m going to use the Homey Virtual Devices these work

Hello,
I really love this app but still having the problem that the ā€žmop intensity offā€œ doesn’t work for me.
In the Roborock app I see the settings set to CUSTOM but it always does a mop too …
Are there already workarounds available please?

Thanks
Gert

So new update;
It wasn’t the AVD device that caused the problem.
In my flow the correct map is also selected and after that i immediately started the room cleaning.
When adding a 10 sec. delay after the map change everything is working as expected.
Maybe a tip for others to do this?

After automatically updating the app to v1.1.0 it no longer works with my Q8. I cannot control the robot or see any of its status. The device dashboard keeps flashing when trying to access it. Re-installing the app did not fix it.

Hey,

You are receiving authentication errors from the api.

Could you try to repair the device?

Thanks

Hey @GolfSierra

On some devices the app seems to fail to turn off the custom mode.

A workaround is to disable the custom mode in the roborock app, after that homey should be able to control it.

Kind regards

Hey Kenny,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry to ask this stupid question: what do you mean by ā€žturning off custom modeā€œ … there are so many settings for the Qrevo Curv … where do you mean I should do this please?

Thanks for your help again
Gert

Hey @GolfSierra,

I don’t know how it works with the Qrevo, because I don’t own such a device.

However other users switched the cleaning mode in the Roborock app itself to vacuum only or vacuum and mop instead of the custom / intelligent cleaning mode. I think there are some screenshots earlier in this topic about it.

Kind regards,

THANKS, I will check … :+1:t2:

First thank you for a great app!

Second, my machine a S7 Max V Ultra does not seem to do the rooms in the order I put them in a card. (I use the card with two rooms). Am I missing something? Does it perhaps do the rooms based on alphabetical order? It would be nice if it did it in the order that I placed them since then it hopefully in my case starts by not wetting the mops (room with carpet) and then wets the mop.

Hey @Pantera_Ruber,

The order of the cleaning of the rooms is currently determined by Roborock, not by the Homey app. If you edit your map in that one, you can define the order.

You can always also define two flows, and let one flow start after the previous finished cleaning.

Kind regards,

helo @KennyMoens

after testing the app for a couple of weeks, it is working fine for me :slightly_smiling_face:

I was wondering if there is a way of implementing ā€œthe water tank being removedā€ or ā€œthe mop mount being removedā€

when I remove either way the water tank or the mop mount the robot says it outloud, is there a way to implement either of those as a ā€œAND flow cardā€ (so that I can program a Flow where I am notified to install mop mount when mopping is planned but the mop mount, or water tank, is missing)

Hey Kenny, again thanks for the Great app.
I’ve had some issues last couple of weeks, I think since 1.2.0, but not completely sure.
But the vacuum goes offline and stops working about once a day so I have to restart the app to make it come online again.

Restarting the app brings the vacuum online again, but it seems that after a clean (which it does daily) it seem to go offline sometime in the afternoon.

Im on HP2019 12.4, Roborock Cloud 1.2.0.

Hello guys,

@Radim_Kupcak
I’ve add issue #61 in the backlog for this.

@Rick_Jensen
The diagnostics report you gave me shows that the robot is online. DId you maybe take it after the restart of the app? Maybe you can provide one also for when the robot is offline?

I’m aware that there are sometimes, with some people, issues with the app crashing after some time due to memory issues (for which I’m working on some internal rewrites). Does the app appear crashed with you? Or is the app really active, just the roboto that is disconnected.

Kind regards,

Hi there,
I’m owning a Roborock Dyad Pro. The dyad is also cloud connected and has a cleaning station, battery status/loading. With this app I can add it to Homey:

But the values for the attributes are empty:

Do you think it’s possible to add this kind of Roborock device to your app, so all attributes can be read and used in flows.

My use-case: I would like to know (and send push notifications) on:

  • battery is fully loaded
  • self-cleaning is finished
  • water tank is full/empty

The Roborock app shows this kind of data and I can start self-cleaning.

Greetings,
David

Hey @dferch

I do think that should be possible, but I would have to dig a bit deeper on the differences between the robot vacuums and these kind of devices.

I’ve added it to the backlog as issue #62.

However, before going there I want to do an internal refactoring first related to the memory issues we sometimes have.

Hey Kenny, i’ve sent a new report while robot is offline:
fbcab5df-d352-46b4-8699-bd24c3c8dc92

I believe its the app that crashes, cause if I try to add a new device and pick ā€œRoborock Cloudā€ there are no suggestions for devices, any other app will present suggestions.
And restarting the app will bring the robot online, and present me with suggestion if i’d try to add new devices.

EDIT: I have a guess that the issues started when the live-map was introduced. But I could be wrong. But it got me thinking that maybe it could be optional to have a map or not, either by some sort of configuration or another type of device to add.

Hey @Rick_Jensen,

Hmmm might be, it is certainly worth a try. I’ll see if I can bring out a version in the next days where you can disable the map, then we can evaluate if this is the cause or not.

Kind regards,
