[APP][Pro] Power by the Hour: Insights per hour, day, month and year

English please :folded_hands:

I’m still working on rate limits from ENTSOE. Now that I have my ENTSOE cloud server operational, I ran into another ā€˜rate limit’, but this time on Homey side. Homey does not allow to push (price)data via a webhook to more than 100 Homeys.

But @Emile (Thx!) suggested an alternative solution that I am implementing now. It does not push price updates immediately to your Homey, but you will have it there within 5 minutes after a country has published their Day Ahead Tariffs to ENTSOE.

So stay tuned for the next update :face_blowing_a_kiss:

v8.4.0 is ready for testing: https://homey.app/a/com.gruijter.powerhour/test/

  • Update and enable EntsoeGruijter
  • Added Nordpool
  • Smart price fetch iteration and time based retries
  • Apply settings immediately

This should massively improve the price fetching speed :folded_hands:

The 15-minute price is coming through correctly, thanks! The hourly price doesn’t seem to be updating yet. Could you take a look when you have a chance?

Thanks. Right now Homey Energy is down, so hopefully this one remains reliable.

I had the same issue.Waiting until the whole hour did the trick.

Waited over an hour, still no prices.:frowning:

I have the same issue. No prices.

Update:
I force to install the latest 8.4.0 and that solved the issue for me.

Hallo iedereen,

Batterij ging plots helemaal laden zonder enige aanleiding.

Mvg

Kim

Maybe you didn’t notice, but this whole section is in English.
Has the PBTH been updated to version 8.3 or newer? And have you applied the inversion?

Just a heads-up: the way the Zendure local app is being used here doesn’t look right. From what I can tell, the commands are being persisted to the inverter’s flash, and repeated writes can wear it out over time. My recommendation would be not to use it this way.

Edit regarding the Zendure local app(above): the developer has released an update. Please make sure you’re running the latest version.

Hi geert

now i have noticed .Sorry

My post was first in the dutch forum.

i have version 8.2.3 and is 15 min ago updated to 8.4.0.

inversion is on yes. If all went good you can see it on the pictures what the problem is

you are setting the XOM target, smoothing and minimum power on every power change. You should only set it once (e.g. with a manual START button), not on every power change. The inverted should be set to ā€˜yes’ when you upgraded from an older PBTH version to v8, and didnt change the flow.

Hi Robin,

first of all thanks a lot that you are doing all of this :+1: .

did i have luck with the older version that it worked for me ? Or do i have to change the it because the new versions?

Is this the way i need to do it?

yes. this should work

Do I need to do anything specific to use Nordpool? Or is that activated automatically?

That. PBTH will first try my Entsoe bridge, and if that fails will fallback to Noordpool (in EU currency)

I’ve tried it myself, made the same flow as Kim, I use an HW p1 meter connected to Homey energy.
But it’s not doing anything.

Is your Homey Energy setup correctly? Check if your main meter is represented there.

And if you set of invert to no? I dont know the Zendure battery….

Yes, and made a variabel, linked it….. But it was not changing, staying 0.
