Official ECB rates are used. Euro foreign exchange reference rates https://share.google/wVBr4lBqw868QYJS7
Why not use the Nordpool exchange rate?
It also seems like the Official ECB rates are frozen throughout the weekend.
So the NOK values in PBTH ends up being incorrect compared to the Nordpool website.
You are most welcome to implement Nordpool exchange rates as an addional source. Help in maintaing apps is very welcome in generalš.
In fact Iām considering dropping Nordpool completely since all prices are already made available through entso.
Issue:
In my Homey Dasboard I use the camera widget for showing the day ahead prices, available in PbtH. Nearly every day this widget turns black (showing the camera symbol in grey). Refreshing by clicking on the circle symbol does not help.
I have to close the entire Homey app and restart it to let the camera widget showing the graph.
It looks like that this widget crashes, while all other entries in my dashboard works 24/7.
I use an āoldā Samsung Tablet SM-T510, Android 11.
Is this a PbtH issue or a Homey Dashboard issue or a tablet issue or?
PBTH simply creates a ācameraā. The rest is done by Homey dashboard and the mobile app.
My Smart meters are going to be replaced (Gas and Electricity). What need I do to keep my data of the current PBTH devices? How do I migrate or update?
You need to fiddle with the this day/month/year start to continue with the same homey device.
@Gruijter
Thanks for the Swift reply. Will do!
@Gruijter In October Tibber starts with energy prices per quarter. How will this affect the PBTH app and the calculation of the average price - card of the App? Do you expect that we need to change our flows?
Yes probably. The average price cards will work the same, but there will be 4x more time periods
It turns out that only the PbtH-camera widget is crashing, a 2nd camera widget with KNMI-info stays alive.
Am I the only one seeing this crashing of the day ahead prices graph in dashboards?
Works fine for me, both in Homey dashboard as in HDashboards
What display do you use?
Lenovo M11, IPad and IPhone and google Nest 1
I just tried to install a new camera widget with PbtH graph in a Homey Dasboard which is running for many days. No luck, I just see the black screen with camera symbol. Clicking the refresh button gives no reaction, other than that it is circling for hoursā¦
Restarting the Homey app and then the dashboard and there it is ā¦
My Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T510) on Android 11 seems not good enough.
Too bad as I had some collecting dust and this is a nice way to use them ![]()
I have it on a Google Nest 1. No problem
I have ordered a Lenovo M11 myself. Arrives on Monday.
If the dashboard with camera widget āday ahead pricingā is working stable I have to move over.
To be continuedā¦
@Ria_Banis and @Gruijter, I installed the Homey app on my new Lenovo M11.
Within 5 hours the camera widget with PbtH-graph āday ahead pricesā crashed. The widget with a KNMI picture stayed aliveā¦
Can I conclude that it is not the tablet hardware or Android software (Lenove has version 14, the Samsung version 11)?
What else can I do to come closer to the root cause? Please help me to solve this annoying issue ![]()
EDIT on August 1st:
Once a day the camera widget with Day Ahead prices is crashing on both tablets (Lenovo and Samsung). The KNMI-camera widget stays alive.
One solution might be to skip PbtH for this and find a graphical image somewhere on the internet which fits in the widget.
Is there anybody around who found an URL with this graph?
I already created some summarisers.
But now I am stuck with my latest wish.
I would like to have a sumariser the only shows return energy.
I have a summariser for my smart meter, but that summarises all (positive and negative) energy. I want to separate my return energy.
Any suggestion on how to start that?
Create a virtual power device (e.g . via GROUPS app), and have PBTH connect to that virtual device.
Or create a PBTH virtual device and feed that with the desired kWh meter value every x seconds using a flow.
