[APP][Pro] Power by the Hour: Insights per hour, day, month and year

I couldn’t find the answer to a simple question.

Can someone explain the card “de prijs wordt een van x laagste in de x uren voor x uur”? / “price will be one of de x lowest in the x hours before x hour”

ChatGPT explaines it like this.

Example:
x lowest: 3
x hours before: 12 hours
x hour: 18:00

This would check if the current hour’s price is among the 3 lowest prices in the 12 hours before 18:00 (i.e., between 06:00 and 18:00).

Or do you mean something else?

That’s what I meant. Thank you.

Today all electricity prices are 3 hours off in Power by the Hour. I have already restarted the app, but that does not resolve it.

This is the chart that it shows for The Netherlands:

As you can see, it reports the cheapest hour as 10:00 while in reality, the cheapest hour is 13:00. Because everything is shifted, it also does not have any price information after 21.00.

Hopefully it is just a glitch. I have never seen this before. I did not change anything with regards to the timezone in Homey.

Does anyone else have the same issue?

Looks like your homey is set to the wrong location/timezone.

Thanks for your response. I checked the time and timezone in Homey and they were both correct. Then I restarted Homey and that fixed it. So all is good again. It was just a Homey glitch after all.

Pfeeeewww, lucky me, my solar-shut-down flow started at the right time

Homey, and just keeping the right time… will it ever be fixed? My oven clock never fails

Hi.

I’m very sorry if this has been mentioned already, but I can’t find it in the almost 3000 replies…

I’m going to a dynamic Zonneplan contract.
So in preperation I created a ‘day ahead e prices’ device. (NL_Netherlands)
But in comparing the prices (with the zonneplan app on my phone), there is a significant difference.
Actually the same is for the Gas prices device (TTF_EOD).

What am I doing wrong?

(A bit offtopic maybe)
Not seen before: Customer Energy price being exactly €0.00 for an hour tomorrow (Zonneplan):

Or look here.

Hi, is anyone using this app from Hungary with a HomeWizard P1 meter? How did you set the tariff, considering that here it’s dynamic—or at least I’m not sure how the tariff is calculated in Hungary, because I think no one really understands the settlement bill. Thanks if anyone can help.

I would like to include a chart showing the electric price thorugh out the day on my Dashboard, and PBH chart would be nice, but HOW to get it to the dash?

I have this in Hdashboard.

Add it as a camera to the dashboard.

For the last couple of days the chart is no longer being updated in the dashboard.
When I click on the “camera-widget” I get a black screen …
More people have this issue?

I use an Android tablet.

Just check, and no I get the normal picture off the prices for today, and if After 14:00 all so for next day.
A other check it to acces with a other device (phone) or go with your laptop to the same place and check it.

Some advice, did you restart the app “PbtH” all ready, it could all so be that the energies market you choose did not publish their prices yet.

I also see the diagram etc when I look in the device section on a phone or laptop, but when I look in my own dashboard it is black.
I removed the widget and re-added it: empty, black screen.
And yes, I re-started the app (first thing to do when issues arise).

Maybe a dashboard issue rather then a PbtH issue.

EDIT:
Issue solved after restarting the Samsung tablet.

Because of the problems with a certain pc dashboard, I have the PbtH graphics putting on my tablet. It’s working fine.

Buit is it normal that I can only the “today” one make larger by clicking on it.
Do I this by the other 2 then the “today” one is coming.
Even I delete that “today” one.
