I agree. It was never my intention to hijack the thread. Me and Jarl have an understanding and i will try to create a new thread 
This (avoid sending values to the Panasonig API unless they are changed) is now supported in the latest version (v1.1.23) of the APP and can be enabled per device. Blocked transmissions are logged in the APP log.
Note that if a flow sets multiple parameters, these may (since the interaction between the Homey OS and the APP is asynchronous, I guess) be joined together into one API call, and the APP will then block calling the Panasonic API unless at least one of the values has changed.
Happy to see that Johnny is now “live” in a separate topic dedicated to the new Panasonic heatpump APP which can (hopefully soon) be installed from the Homey App Store (instead of using CLI).
