I have no problems. HP2023 with Hyundai app 1.2.2, Hyundai Kona. First i can’t connect but after a few days it works. I als think a reverted api.
Hm, interesting. Can’t connect my Hyundai Inster. Maybe because it’s newer? Anyways, will try resetting bluelink in a few days. Maybe that helps.
Hello,
stupid question: What is the difference between turn A/C on and Defrost on? I do not see such two options in the Bluelink app.
Fixed! I was on vacation earlier (which I didn’t want to clearly post publicly) and tried adding it remotely which didn’t work and lead to the error above. While being on the same wifi network as the Homey does work.. That’s very weird, but hey, it’s fixed.
A/C ON will turn the A/C on
(using the set temperature)
Defrost will turn the A/C on plus the defroster plus the windshield air.

@Gruijter, the KIA-app has an IF flow card “Car status updated.” How exactly is this supposed to work?
I want to calculate certain things after each status refresh, so I thought, I’ll use this trigger, but it doesn’t always seem to work. I regularly see that a status refresh has occurred, but my calculations haven’t been executed. A manual (force) refresh seems to work fine, but a server update doesn’t. Is this how it’s supposed to work?
Installed the new app on hp2023, but i keep getting this:
What could be wrong? I recently used the same items when i had to go over to the new Kia app on my phone.
Unfortunately same issue and same error for me trying to add Kia..:
Error: Pairing failed: @EuropeController.login: [401] Unauthorized on [POST] https://prd.eu-ccapi.kia.com:8080/api/v1/user/signin
“errCode”:“4010”,
“errMsg”:“Require authentication”
Yeah it seems broken again due to changes to the login method, seems like they added a captcha check somewhere and it’s messing with third party apps…

Same error

Same error here.
As @Geronimo206 already showed, the issue is a known one and Home Assistant community (see his link 3 posts up) is identifying a way to overcome changes in the KIA API for the EU. It’ll take some time for any fix to propagate into this Homey app. Let’s patiently wait for @Gruijter to do so, or help him when he requests help here.
Starting from Today, the device shows “Unavailable. Device is restarting. Wait a few minutes” It is shown for hours without recovery.
the same here KIA EV3
Kia simply cannot keep its hands off the API. Since I’ve been driving Kia, we’ve had the API game at least 10 times.
We can only wait until the Homey app is updated again and then it works again until the next time Kia gets bored.
By the way, it doesn’t work in Home Assistant yet either.
I did send an email to info@kia.nl and requested a stable API for domotica users. Maybe more users to put a little pressure on them?
I’m new here and trying to get my Kia e-Niro into a flow. Even though I’m entering the exact correct login details, I’m still getting this result and can’t seem to select my car. What am I doing wrong?
