[APP][Pro][Official] Kia and Hyundai

Today I got a notification from Tibber that the KIA connection issue is supposedly received. The good news is that it is actually resolved as I could connect KIA again via my KIA Connect login. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

But the bad news is that adding my KIA EV6 in Homey is still giving the same error 4010. :frowning:

???

does this have something to do with the new kia app (on ios in my case) that we must use ?
i have the same error

What kind of issue is it? Looks like Hyundai changed their API, so the client your app is using (Bluelinky) needs to amend on their end first. Im looking at this issue.

Indeed.

I’ll keep you posted here to see if the folks at Home Assistant have a solution. At the moment, the app isn’t working there either.

Edit 10.08.25

Home Assistant has released an update to the Hyundai/KIA app today. KIA still does not work. Unfortunately, I can’t say for Hyundai as I don’t own one of these vehicles. I drive a Kia Niro 2020 PHEV myself.

Edit 11.08.25

Today’s HA update was again unsuccessful. The error message is different: The vehicle is already configured

Looks like they have both working. Just a question on what version of the api works for what brand it seam. Based on the api thread. Looks on the source for the api that the idp dns was changed so i gues it was replaced for the new kia app. Would be my gues.

Just checking –> For Homey Pro 2016/2019 you can now still use the ‘old’ community app:

I’m getting the same message in the “old” app. Is this a matter of waiting for a Homey update for “NodeJS”, or is the old app supposed to work as it is?

Unfortunately yes

Thanks for fixing KIA, will Hyundai follow?

Hyundai should already/still work. Does it not? What Homey (2016/19/23) do you use?

Ah, the issue wasn’t known for Hyundai? The app has the same issue as Kia since the same moment, the endpoints for Bluelink are also changed. Using the Homey Pro 2023.

See screenshot below.

Ow. Ok. I read online that Hyundai reverted their api after a few days.

Can other Hyundai users confirm the same error on HP2023?

Hi, my Hyundai Ionic 5 (2025) also did not work when the KIA issue was ongoing. I just tried connecting using HP2023 and Hyundai app 1.2.2, inside europe, and it works again. Must be what Gruijter says, that Hyundai reverted after a few days.
I can confirm that the Hyundai app 1.2.2 still works from inside eu, with an Ionic 5.

Thanks for a great product Gruijter.
