[APP][Pro] Ngenic Tune - Smart control of house heat pumps

Ok, sounds good. I will add it.

I added the temp sensor offset setting and submitted version 1.4.5 for test: Ngenic Tune | Homey

Had a quick look and it looks great  thanks a lot. I will try it out and get back if there is anything. Extra nice that there is a card to set the offset. I have not seen that on other apps. It is great to have when you do as I do and try to auto-calibrate the sensors.

I don’t seem to get the exact same reading from my own api implementation via Advanced Virtual Devices and advanced flows. Will check where I probably have done some wrong maths ;p

It works great no problem with readings. Was only timing issues i.e. values read at different intervals. For my Christmas present I wish for the same possibility for humidity reading. That would be awesome

Glad to hear it works. Doing the same for humidity shouldn’t be a problem. I will add it, hopefully before Christmas then

Hej Simon, just got myself and Ngenic opto track installed to be able to also control and monitor the ā€œfjƤrrvƤrmeā€ from my 2023 pro early.

My question is do I need to remove the device and add it again for the consumption to show up or is there another way to get the track readings included?

It is working fine in the Ngenic app but not shown on the Homey device.

Hej Tommy! Have you had the Track Opto added in the Homey app for a long time? It seems energy measurements were added in version 1.4.3 back in April. If your Track was added before that, you probably need to remove it and add it again. Otherwise it should probably be there. Unfortunately I don’t have a Track Opto myself so I cannot really verify if it works or not.

I got the track today and installed it during the afternoon using the ngenic app. The base tune part i have had since more than a year. I installed your app more or less at the same time as when you first released it.

I was hoping something like a repair would make it show up in Homey but couldn’t it.

I am bit reluctant to delete and add it as I would loose the history so far, but if that’s the only way then I know?

You would not be interested in trying to implement an auto discovery type of functionality? If so we could test on my system.

You should not need to uninstall the app or remove any other device (such as the Tune or sensors), I was just thinking if you had added the Track Opto a long time ago. It should find it of course but something is obviously wrong. Let me figure out a way to debug this and I will get back to you.

Ah now I understand you model the track as a separate device!! I didn’t think about that I was expecting it to show up under the tune device…

Added it and it worked fine right away!!!

Now it’s obvious, but I was stuck on thinking it would show up as part of the tune device…

Thanks Simon!!

Fantastic, hope it works!

Yes it does work I can confirm!!!

As long as you realize you have to add the track as a separate device…
