Sure, just add a second Database device.
Perfect - Thanks! Jjust wanted to make sure! ![]()
Sorry, I tried reading the FAQ but I still donât get it. How do I use the output from a flow that makes a select from a table? I created the SELECT flow, it works, but the second flow cannot get the result from the first flow?
Thanks!
Are you using standard or advanced flow?
Advanced flow is much easier because you can concatinate the cards.
Thanks @RonnyW - It turned out that Homey was a bit crazy when I tried this. I works great today!
And thank you for this app, it wouldnât be possible to run my home and Homey without it - supergreat work! ![]()
Thanks!
I have a question, i moved my mysql server to a new network, can i change the IP of the device so my flows keep working?
I have not checked in detail, but it seems the device currently supports a setup on pairing.
I have to add a repair view to change the settings (IP, user).
So if you need a direct switch to the new DB, it needs to be added as new device. If it hast some time, I can add a repair functionality.
That is fast, i Will test it next week. Thanks
Hi, I have ran into problems after a system restart. Can no longer connect to mysql database.
Which systen was restarted? Your DB server? Has it a fixed IP or DHCP reservation?
What error message is shown in your flow? Test the flow or ise the error output of the flow card to write the error message to the timeline.
Thank you for replying. Due to power fault all my systems where restarted. Iâm using DHCP and have run: ipconfig /flushdns. No problem in reacing my db-server from another pc using host-name. But when I try to connect MySQL-app to the database nothing happens. No messages what so ever. PS. All was working fine until this power fault happened. Best regards ThorbjĂžrn
Did your server get a new IP? In this case, please repair yor SqlDB device. Then you can connect again - in detail you just change rhe uses IP.
Thank you again. My network uses dynamic ip-addresses. Therefor I had to flushdns. But I have also tried to connect using actual IP-address. But still no response. Connection settings: Server: , port = 3606, user=<my_username>, password=<<my_pwd>>, When I press âTest Connectionâ, nothing happens. No message. I really dont understand whats going on here ???
Problem solved! Had to restart Homey after command: ipconfig /flushdns. This way homey got a new updated list of IPs from my network.
Thank you for your responses and have a nice day.
